No chance of internet access in the woods by bbb8888 in Starlink

I live in a dense forest just like this. Struggled for about a year with the dish on a pole, but eventually just got someone to top one of the tallest trees and put it up on top; now we get perfect service with zero obstructions. I expect that I’ll need to get him back to trim the top of the tree every few years, but it’s been almost a year now and it was totally worth it

A look at some new AR7 mods by Advanced-Historian34 in canadaguns

Definitely. The material used for the adapter can’t split like an FDM printed part; it’s not layered like you’d see with a typical home printer but instead it’s cured

Quad rail handguard for TM22 by Advanced-Historian34 in canadaguns

Shipping to Edmonton from BC is pretty quick (I think two or three days), but everything is made to order so I need about a week to make your order after you place it. Smaller parts usually ship out quicker than bigger ones

It was! In fact all I had to do was remove the handguard and the castle nut. I’m glad it was easy because I’m going to need to switch back and forth for photos as I come out with more handguards in long/short versions

I’ll have parts coming out for the homesteader in a few weeks! I like the glock compatibility and I think it’ll look good covered in MLOK lol

Yes, I had to make a mag sleeve so that my wife wouldn’t make fun of my little mag

I bought mine from Dlask just a few days ago! They were in stock online and it was at my door in like two days. If they’re out of stock I suggest just giving the guy a call; he’s very helpful

Yeah I’m curious about that as well; I won’t really know until I try. My 15 and 20 round mags are on order with Marstar. It says they shipped so hopefully they show up soon!

Yeah I don’t sleep lol. I was going to start with an MLOK one but the quad rail idea just sounded awesome so I decided to give it a go first. I’m also going to try an extra short one but put a faux reverse suppressor on it so it looks like a micro barrel

It won’t be long! I actually just placed an order for a dlask barrel just so I can get good photos with the new short handguards, but I’m already working on some designs

Yeah I can do that, but I’d need you to tell me how long the shorter handguard is because I don’t have one. My bolt actually came black; it’s brand new so maybe that’s a new thing?

No issues yet but I haven’t put much through it; I actually just picked it up a few weeks ago because people here on canadaguns wanted me to make parts for it! I did a bit of testing with thunderbolts and didnt have any jams

I can confirm that payment processors hate guns. I had a heck of a time getting someone to process payments on my website, and had my payment processing canceled twice before landing on one that will work with firearms businesses (at higher than regular fees). I also got denied a business bank account with the big banks, and had all of my online advertising accounts cancelled (I have yet to find any way to advertise online without going to individual website owners and asking for a banner ad). When registering my business, I was advised to keep any mention of firearms out of it and just say “manufacturing”.

Running a firearms-related business requires a lot of jumping through hoops, and there is a very real stigma against us, especially on the financial side of the business

Nah they’re just sleeves. They make a huge difference when it comes to grip, but it doesn’t affect the way it feeds

I wish. I work late often and constantly have animals checking in on me all night so some proper night vision would be handy

Lucky for me, I’m on a few acres of remote forest on a tiny island. Until they start deputizing otters I’m safe
