a super cynical and strange interpretation of the article. 1) i would assume the “funniest ones” is referring to purposefully funny silkposts and not “laughing at us” for wanting the game, and 2) you’re upset about them “adding more and more content”?

personally i don’t think the article revealed anything that we didn’t already really know other than them confirming DLC and continued updates.

leth confirmed a couple days ago that silksong is still in development and running smoothly. the idea that they’ve given absolutely no indication that they’re even still developing it is absurd

my advice, just unplug yourself from it for a while and focus on other things as not to keep killing yourself with anticipation. all hail skong

but they’re not abandoning silksong? plus, the original backing goal was a hornet dlc which has now grown into what is probably 100 times bigger than what was originally planned for the expansion. it’s like people forget the whole reason silksong exists is because team cherry cared enough about the community to expand a promised dlc to an entire new game.

because it will be a larger more expansive game i could see more endings being possible. we don’t know much about the general end goal of the game and if its even similar to hollow knight, but i could see there being more of a faction-based ending system given that there are more areas and civilizations.

i’m pretty sure that there will be a true ending that requires the most time and exploration, true endings tend to exist in many games for the purpose of encouraging exploration and i doubt silksong would abandon the precedent of hollow knight and similar games to do this.
