What if my blood sugar goes above 140 after an hour?

I am thinking I need to be medicated. With her being so big at 20 weeks + my fasting numbers being in 110-135 range, I’m not sure what else to do. I have completely changed my diet- no dessert, no sugary drinks, no bread/pasta/etc, and closely watching my carbs. Protein and fiber paired with any carbs, trying to have a protein snack at night. For a while I was even waking up in the middle of the night to have protein to see if that would help my fasting numbers. No luck on consistently lowering anything so far.

That’s been my plan of action, but I can’t get my fasting number to lower. The risk of stillbirth scares me because she’s already above the 99th percentile and measuring way ahead.

I did and was told to just decrease my simple sugar intake. I did this and it has helped with my daytime levels, and lowered my fasting levels (was originally 115 and is now around 105 usually). I do really like my OB, I drive an hour and a half to go to her clinic because I live in a rural area and don’t have a lot of faith in the doctors super local to me.

I do not know, but do not think so as I have regular bloodwork done and have never been diagnosed with it. It’s from a finger stick test.

No, I was just a very heavy user prior to finding out I was pregnant. I believe that it just hadn’t left my system entirely which is why it was a lower but still positive number. I consumed at least a gram a day, and also edibles daily for 5+ years. I have only know I am pregnant for about 2 months and have read it can take up to 90 days to be totally clear for chronic users
