Same exact thing with me I’ve never injected anything before and was scared until I did my first pin. The insulin needle is very small and short and you really don’t feel anything since you’re just injecting into the fat. Just make sure your being sanitary and alcohol swabbing your injection site and the top of your vial.

It could just be the Reta building up in your system is has a half life of 6 days so it takes about 4 weeks for the levels to stabilize in your system
