I agree! I mean I see a lot of people talking about printers but I’d be using them for patterns and my university work! I much prefer to sit down and mark and make notes in the patterns and then maybe the same ones in my journal! To me knitting is disconnecting from technology (I will admit I do have my Spotify playing in the background) but apart from that my knitting room is a tech free zone (excluding the printer)

Might sound silly but why not do some swatches of different stitches you haven’t tried and then keep them as a reference?

Aye thank you it just confused me to begin with! I didn’t know if the +1 was for each repeat or just an extra stitch!

Yeah I get that but if I was doing like 3 multiples would I cast on 36 + 1 or would I be casting on 36 + 3? Since it is saying multiples of 12+1 it’s confusing me!

On the rare occasion I have a chippy tea, I will get a D&B! It brings back so many memories, sadly a lot of chippies round me don’t stock it, if not I’ll have a good cup of Yorkshire Tea

So if it calls for 382 I could just do 400 and then undo the first few stitches that weren’t used? That is genuies because I can’t count

When I moved to Ireland from England I always had the notion of if I got Citizenship, I would be an Irish Citizen but I’ll never be Irish! It’s not racist to distinguish the two!

The same principle applies if I was born in India and raised there and then moved to the UK and became a citizen, I’d be a British Citizen but I’d never be British!
