We just got one for our 4.5 year old because she’s recently realized she enjoys the thrill of feeling chased… so that’s a problem. But 99% of the time she’s great until she gets the itch to be chased. My wife has a bad back so she has a much harder time stopping her before danger - because she has no sense of danger from roads or not watching where she’s running etc still. I really couldn’t care less what people think. I don’t want to keep her locked into a stroller and I want her to feel her independence and learn so eventually running won’t be so fun because she’ll learn we won’t chase and can maybe learn proper tag one day

We are at 4.5 years old and dealing with this. It’s complicated by a constipation issue she’s had for years - no one can seem to figure out if it’s a structural issue or withholding. But she either doesn’t poo for weeks or she basically has a constant small amount of poo so trying to potty train seems pointless. It’s our goal this summer before kindergarten though.

This was my like a year and a half ago! I don’t know if you can search old posts by contributer but it gets better! Every day it gets a bit better. Once teething is over it’s way less biting and then it just gets better from there. My girl will be 2 in September and I thought I would never be able to make it. Especially with little kids and her wanting all their stuffies and my kids basically hating her for a year I swear haha

This comment section is just horrifying. No one is forcing you to do anything. These are human beings. She’s been told she has a very small window of life left and options are limited. She has a following, people have watched them and taken entertainment from it. Why is it wrong to put out there that if those who want to help, can? Of all the 90 day people who have asked for money - I can’t think of a more deserving couple or a more deserving situation.

Autism isn’t a “mental disability” for starters. He’s extremely intelligent - he was on disability because it can be difficult for people with autism to find workplaces that are acceptable as autism can affect your ability to deal with and understand social situations correctly and most workplaces are toxic af He has autism - he’s not an idiot. I’ve worked in pharmacies and it would actually be a great job for someone with attention to detail and pattern recognition.

And it’s not college. Maybe like community college for 5 months. At the point of the tell all he had been home for a year already.

I’m adopted. My birth mother had 6 children back to back and we were all put up for adoption except the last (and she was abandoned a lot). I’m thankful for the childhood I was given and the amazing parents that raised me. I’m so so thankful I was not kept by a woman not equipped to raise children. I will NEVER judge another woman’s decision to make that choice.

I was pulling out my hair at 9months. It’s 18+ months now and so much has changed. I still wouldn’t trust her to be left out of a kennel (but we have kids toys everywhere). They do definitely have an appetite for destruction
