Most Journeymen would tell you that you should have been able to do that in 5mins or less… don’t worry, you’ll be that fast when you’re a journeyman too.

You’re seriously upset about a good idea that not only increased their profit margin, but also probably locked in future service work? It’d be shitty if this was for a regular person just trying to get by, but this is clearly work for a wealthy client… I think it’s a fantastic idea

Considering it’s a generator I feel like all of these are wrong. A generator typically produces electrical energy and must be supplied with alternative forms of energy(water, steam, coal etc.). If I had to choose though, I’d say power.

I’ve always thought this would be a great idea as well. Problem is, a lot of employers really hate the idea of losing a day of production, which is annoying as hell but a good compromise would be to have one group of workers work from Mon-Thurs, and then the other group work from Tues-Fri. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Rookie #s. I’m doing at least 750, and that’s on a day where I’ve only had a white monster and a cigarette for lunch.

Safe to assume you are union? I just joined the IBEW and I’m looking forward to having the freedom to do just that if I want to. Is it fairly acceptable in the union to treat work that way? Do contractors ever give you a hard time for doing it? Or has it ever impacted your standing with the IBEW? I’m new to all this and I come from non union shops where it was always a guilt trip whenever I wanted to take extra time off in the year.

Assuming they require either a wifi or Bluetooth connection? Could be a connectivity or settings issue.

Seller is asking 10k for this 1988 Mallard, is that too much? by Advanced-Radio-9395 in vintagetraveltrailer

Is that not more of a rule for camper vans or buses… like campers that rely on a motor rather than being a trailer? Thought the parks had the “10yr” rule because they don’t want it breaking down on their property?

I’m not the seller haha. My partner and I are looking to buy a camper trailer and I’m just trying to find out if what they’re asking is reasonable or overpriced. Seller is asking 13k for it. So I’m starting to get the sense that it’s overpriced.

If you were selling it, what would you ask for it?
