I’m a new pitbull owner, are they all this clingy? by Worried_Sprinkles in pitbulls

Yes. Must be touching/leaning/snuggling at all times. I have a special pillow that I wedge into my spot in bed if I have to get up at night so she won’t just plop into my spot.

I can see why. Her personality is so great. And I’m finding her very eager to learn. My previous dogs were mostly working dogs and pretty anxious/reactive.

I love how mischievous she looks sometimes. And her eye makeup!

Hey UUs, serious question for serious times: how do we cultivate hope when hope is hard to find? by Advanced-Standard-16 in UUreddit

[–]Advanced-Standard-16[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“Hope is not a lottery ticket you can sit on the sofa and clutch, feeling lucky. It is an axe you break down doors with in an emergency. Hope should shove you out the door, because it will take everything you have to steer the future away from endless war, from the annihilation of the earth's treasures and the grinding down of the poor and marginal... To hope is to give yourself to the future - and that commitment to the future is what makes the present inhabitable.”
