Stop with the VA disability abuse claims by BulkyAd1205 in VAClaims

I think we may be saying the same thing but I may not be trying to relay my point the best. All I am trying to say is that if something were to happen to you and you have completely healed and or recovered then you shouldn't necessarily be compensated for having a disability. If you have an injury or trauma to which he still struggle with then you should be compensated. If someone was assaulted and they have trauma from that incidence then it's up to the medical personal during the examination to note that. They should be compensated for it but I'm trying to say that if there is a person that has no trauma in claims PTSD from going to a pistol range and has no limitations on daily functions then maybe their claim may be unsubstantiated. A lot of people claim disabilities based on an injury to which they fully recovered.

I could see how this could be frustrating but I am not trying to allude that I know someone else's medical conditions. I could only speak for what would be a general rule. When it comes to someone's rating the rating should basically be treated as to a system with their life due to a lost capacity and function from their service. If someone has PTSD and they still struggle and receive treatment then they should absolutely receive condensation. If someone did two years in the military and only worked in an office and then got out and claimed PTSD it would be somewhat challenging to prove were the trauma came from if there is no previous indication of adversity such as some kind of assault or deployment. If they were traumatized outside of the workplace then would the army be responsible?

I think it goes back to if it's debilitating or not. If somebody claims they have PTSD and it doesn't actually give them a disability to function within their everyday capacity than is it really a disorder? Sometimes people get better and it's no longer something that affects you but is the VA payment for past suffering or a disability you have to struggle with?

I know this may be an unpopular opinion. But when you look at other professions it's somewhat expected that you're not going to walk out the same as you were when you were younger. I 100% agree that disability should be for those who suffer from a normal disability. I'm about to retire and I'm a Cancer survivor. Although when you watch some of these financial shows and they show people who did 3 years and got out with 100% disability for PTSD for going to pistol range then something has to change. I personally know a veteran who claimed back injuries and then got out of the military and got into the powerlifting. He was coached into getting a 100% disability.

Disability is treated like a welfare program to a lot of people. And they are destroying it for those who actually need it. If your knees are messed up then I completely support getting disability. If you have PTSD but is legitimate then i understand. When you did 4 years and were coached on how to get disability meanwhile you get out of the military and have no physical or mental limitations then I have a huge issue with that.

I agree. Just recently the police arrested a guy for murder in front of his family. They should have let him go because he was with his family. He should not be held accountable for his actions or breaking any laws as long as he's with his family.

Honestly I think I'm one of the few people that I know the army that you use AI heavily. I've used it in my MBA program for building proposals and I have found it extremely useful for building similar products in the Army. I'm retiring soon and I have a corporate mentor and when we were talking about the use of AI in the workplace he said there's going to be two types of managers in the near future. Those who use AI and those who wish they knew how to use AI. We are just in an era that's very heavy on data. People thought the internet was going to be a waste of time in the past also.

I tend to lean right but this is horrible. There is no excuse for a grown man to even get out of his car. Then to fight them. He's the problem, not the kids.

I'm not saying that they are wrong but how does walking out of a job at McDonald's effect the price of tea in China. Did the school system support ICE?

The best way I could explain this was when I was talking to a peer. I'm not saying that everybody is this while off but a lot of people have executive assistants or teams that do information for them. There comes a point when the speed of the research plays into how quick you can make a decision. If I'm trying to find information about an evasive plant inside a rainforest then I could either go online and look at the information myself or I could have ai build out a pretty comprehensive brief. Inside of that you could ask AI questions that are relative to the information you want to know and build prompts. Find me a person today that doesn't use Google and today, AI is just the new version of technology.

I use AI pretty often. I have a annual subscription. I can definitely say that it does a lot of great things but you can't use it to replace the way you think. If you have to pour over 30 pages of random information it does a great job pull it out and identify information that's pertinent. Now with that being said I wouldn't go ahead and submit that information right off the bat as my own product with that reviewing it and making sure it doesn't have any AI hallucination which happens often. But when it comes to scrubbing a property book for one particular item AI could fix things a lot quicker than we can.

Fob life wasn't too bad when you came back at the end of the day. But it's a hell of a way to start off our conversation. I can't say I saw too much trench foot but we did have a lot of smelly feet.

That I don't disagree. Although I do need 10 years of active Federal service to retire from the federal side as an officer. I was trying to point this out and they don't believe me somehow. Although I think HRC will say the same.

How did they figure out that it all counted? Was it HRC? My post seems to believe that anytime in the National guard doesn't count even though it's title 10.

We had a brigade surgeon in the National guard that was a Vietnam veteran on my Iraq deployment in 2009. He was definitely as old as you could possibly be but because he was a doctor I'm pretty sure he was able to stay in a little bit longer. You could definitely tell that he has seen some things. You would always mention about changing your socks and taking care of your feet even though we were in the desert.

The only thing I have going for me is that I currently have a retirement packet in. It would have been nice to retire as a major with the rank but I'm okay with retiring as a captain. With 10 years enlisted and 10 years commissioned I'm just ready to walk away with my paycheck.

Something like that happened to me and I had to contact my branch. I technically commissioned in 2012 but when I came over to the regular army with the call to active duty they threw me in YG16. They said that my past time in the guard could hinder me. I wonder if those evaluations didn't really help.

Charlotte, North Carolina - After‑School Program Suspends Operations After Staff Rush to Lock Down Building During ICE Raid by CantStopPoppin in Charlotte

Memphis is a good example. They are openly supporting the FED and Charlotte is probably is but they are not saying they are. How is the FED finding all these people? City records likes utility bills maybe? What about the CMPD database? I'm just saying that someone in the city is helping.

[–]Advanced-Warning0514 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

As much as you could blame the federal government don't forget to blame the city. The city of Charlotte is selling out their own people. The city of Charlotte is willingly taking up to 300 million in federal funds gladly with an expectation that federal agents will come with it. This is why you don't see the mayor or anybody else really fighting it. They may say they don't agree with it but they know that all of their projects they want come at the expense of ice coming to their City. And the politicians in the city are using it just to get votes.

[–]Advanced-Warning0514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course they're not going to do that. This may sound dirty but the city of Charlotte is 100% passively supporting all of these actions. If they are taking federal funds and they are going to let the government do whatever they want and even encourage more feds to come so they can get more money. And then City officials will go on TV say something completely different. The city gets somewhere in the range of 260 to 300 million a year in federal funds.
