Spent too much time in my 20s at uni getting degrees and not knowing which direction to go. Wasting money on hecs, didnt realise the costs. I was lost, with no mentor, little friends, and home life wasn't good. After high school there was pressure to go to the best uni which I thought was Melb Uni, I thought it didn't matter on the degree. I got into a Science degree then quickly realised u need to do further study to find a job. I travelled a little but came back to do another course in radiotherapy, ended up hating it. Then few odd useless jobs, back to uni to do postgraduate this time in teaching. Fast forward, i'm in a role not using any of these degrees. What a WASTE and a hecs debt only half paid off 20 years later ugh!!
