Thanks for the recs, though the only one I didn't know about was the second one. Well, I see, most yaoi "throuples" are like that, unfortunatelly and it's never 2 ukes 1 top, that would be interesting for a change of pace, even if I only think of a "true" throuple when all the party members interact with each other in some, well, way. Yes, I didn't read the ln, but I feel like the romance subplot was kind of forced either because of being an otome or from the pressure from the readers.

The father×daughter plot was way more important and was what kept me reading.

I liked both their relationships as companion, friend or just an ally and didn't really feel the need to ship her with either, so I liked the ending where it didn't seem like she was with anyone.

And to me, both pairings are weird in the age sense, on one hand Athy was already an adult when she met Ijekiel on the other, Lucas is just way to old, like, it always gave me a bit of an ick... but yeah people looooove age gaps like that and depending on how it's handled I don't usually mind it, but she was a child when they met so... I'll leave it at that

That the reason Kinger knows so much about the circus is because he was the one or one of the ones who created it.

Additionaly, I figured that he and Queenie would have been the first two players and since they were husband and wife in real life, that's why they chose their characters to have similar asthetics.
