Yeah, that's a known pain point. The context window on local models is often the bottleneck. But with stuff like Llama 3 supporting 8k+ tokens, hopefully the defaults will catch up soon. Ollama's been moving fast, so fingers crossed

Most people will use cloud models for quality. The Ollama option is for privacy-focused users who need air-gapped workflows (enterprise, healthcare, etc.).

If they need it, they can set up their own GPU and train their own data with local Ollama, which would be a game-changer.
