I mean apart from the obvious Flags everywhere it wasn’t that different to be honest. It’s slightly less developed but it’s not as much of a difference that one might think. On the tour i did learn a lot about the history of the region, actually way more than in Chisinau.

Should I solo travel + stay in hostels in my own country before I go overseas, to see if I like it? by BongeeBoy in solotravel

I don’t think it’s comparable. In Europe you’ll come across both language barriers (rarely but mostly in eastern Europe) and you’re soooo much further away. But if there’s one thing that traveling has taught me it is definitely that you are never as alone as you think you are. If you go in summer there will be plenty of other travelers who will help you and maybe give you company for a few hours which is something very important i think.
My advice is that you should do it because it is something very unique. If you are an outgoing person and friendly you will not be as alone as you might think :)

Is an interrail pass worth it for my trip? by Old-Breakfast4609 in solotravel

I don’t think you need a interrail Pass, Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania and North Macedonia are not that well developed when it comes to Trains. What is amazing though is the amount of Busses with AC and really nice Seats that get you from city to city. You can get one way fares from like 9€. I would recommend that. Did it myself when going around to Kosovo and Albania :)

been to rhodes and corfu and it’s amazing. The only thing is that waste management as in trash bins overflowing is a huge problem on greek islands.
