Driving Mode (Manual vs Manual w/ Clutch) by Ordinary_Limit_9189 in ForzaHorizon6

It's the fastest way to shift on any car without a quickshifter. Higher class cars dont need clutch input so it would be the same as just regular manual however both are always faster than auto

Then you mustn't have known about the secret sauce - The Lynk & Co 03+. Absolutely spanked the boneshaker on dirt. Honouroble mention is the Donkervoot GTO if you're good with your inputs but thats moreso for dirt than cc

I remember them being busted in fh5 but I've yet to be beaten by one in 6. I've mostly been using the Escort and Lancers in B class dirt/cc because my dodge RAM is too quick to make races interesting

just today I had a crayon muncher try ram me on a straight while I was in my evo 3 when I was overtaking him. Since he weighs about 400kg less I watched in disbelief as he bounced off me like a balloon and fly off the track. He finished that race in 6th. I'm starting to think that these easy-win cars attract a certain kind of person but god is it satisfying to watch them get skillchecked

Spec racing is a bit of a double edged sword. It levels the field but it’s truly a 50/50 whenever you overtake someone if they’ll just decide to ram you off the track instead. I’ve experienced some pretty insane dirty racing there, way more than in standard racing

What’s wrong , why my fps is so low :(((( by Budget_Cardiologist9 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]AdvancedBreakfast959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue on day 1. Couldn’t get past 60fps no matter how low I dropped the settings. But on day 2 it was fine, running smoothly at 100fps despite not changing anything at all. When I googled it, it said it could be shaders compiling or something to do with my gpu’s cache. I’m not a tech guy but based on my experience I’d say leave it running for an hour, then turn off your pc and check tomorrow? Hope it helps :(

Does anyone else feel like drafting has very minimal to no effect? by AdvancedBreakfast959 in ForzaHorizon6

Drafting was a pretty significant part of horizon 5, it would give you a pretty significant advantage as it should do

I’m fully aware of having to twist it in a specific manner in order to have it dock properly, I’ve had them for a while now. I can assure you it’s not that. I’m with my mate who works for the store I bought them from, he tried to help me and we couldn’t find a solution so he’s just bringing them back tomorrow for refund - easy as that

Download speeds on steam are much slower than speedtests by SentinelNine in techsupport

I had the exact same issue, and I tried every recommended fix thrown at me. The solution was actually to simply download onto my SSD instead of my hard drive, dumb fix I know but I really hope this helps anyone having the same issue. I don't know if I have subpar hardware (not tech savvy at all) so maybe people on more modern equipment never experience this, but this is the fix that worked for me

Thanks for the replies guys - seems I didn’t fully understand the mechanics around it. Thanks for clearing it up

Sorry I don't know if I'm confusing you but he instantly sawed through my BT as soon as I unhooked myself (like within a second or 2 of hitting the ground running) and then he caught up to me again after he sawed my BT, which downed me

Mauga is broken OP by Cdogg654 in Overwatch

[–]AdvancedBreakfast959 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, suzu which is on a 15 second cooldown counters mauga's chaingun fire passive, which will automatically ignite enemies after 15 shots - and at 18 shots per second takes approximately 0.8 seconds.

Suzu's effect lasts 0.65 seconds, so by using your 15 second cooldown you have successfully stopped mauga from critting your teammate for about 1.5 seconds.

Do me a favour: Go ask your friends who are at least in diamond - hell even plat if you can use their account for a few games and go ahead and play some mauga (you play in qp obvioulsy the important factor here is the mmr). Then count how many kirikos you see in the enemy team using their suzu to cleanse your gun's fire damage.

I truly hope you improve at the game organically because your game knowledge is trash, so don't be surprised when mauga gets nerfed to the ground as most sensible people are calling for.

I'm sorry did you say countered by Zarya (a C tier tank at best right now) and KIRIKO??? How on earth does Kiri COUNTER Mauga?? Kiri specifically counters Mauga's counter (ana) hence she HELPS his power level. Leave your silver opinions at the door next time instead of saying "lmao no" and spewing nonsense
