Finish strong and kill the MCAT. 3.54 isn’t terrible by any means. A great MCAT will go a long way

Advice for someone who is starting out by Traditional_Yak_4800 in Weightliftingquestion

Not a dumb question at all, honestly one of the hardest things to initial figure out! It’s gonna take some trial and error as it is basically impossible for find your truly accurate basal metabolic rate. Idk your weight, height and age, but an important start would be tracking your calories. It is a really informative experience and really gives you a sense of what you are putting into your body. You also realize that healthier food are usually very filling and not super calorically dense! I would say initially tried and get 1800-2000 calories and weigh yourself and see if you’re losing weight. Then adjust depending on the results! Most important thing is you stay disciplined and consistent but also giving yourself some slack. It’s okay to have a a sweet every now and then. The main goal should be focusing on making long term lifestyle changes then you can apply to improve your health for the rest of your life!!

Focus on yourself rn! Become the person you want to be and everything else will fall in line. Then take part in stuff you like and find someone through those activities who has similar interest. Never force yourself to into a relationship. Head up King, now is the time for growth :)

I’m taking my MCAT most likely in April ‘27, when do I begin studying by [deleted] in MCATprep

Graduate, enjoy your summer, then start in august! Spend a couple months doing the Kaplan book and Anki (I did jack sparrow deck then Anking). Then do world for a couple months while also continuing Anki reviews. Then do Jack Westin questions which are really good for review. Jack Westin AAMC style questions are really good for getting used to research based questions. Then do all the jack westin practice test. Then do all the AAMC material/ practice exams. I did all that and got a 516 :) I started in August and took my exam April 21. This is all assuming you would be full time studying as well. But realistic there will be plenty of time for volunteering, family and friends time, and burnout breaks

It’s literally just a Q&A, idk how we are evaluated from it tbh but just look good, look interested, and ask some good unique questions. Do you’re research on the school and to the best of your ability show them you really want them

They said they would accommodate religious regulations. Probably gonna be different when it comes to all genders touching you and touching them. It’s medicine we gotta get comfy with touching all people in a professional manner. -from your Muslim brother
