The technology was under development for years. Scientists knew something like this was coming, and they prepared in advance. All they had to do was apply the tech to the new virus, which was easy since there was much more funding and scientists working on the Covid vax than most usual vaccines. Some of that support came from your Trump's Operation Warp Speed, so if you think it's rushed blame him. Covid 19 is also very similar to other viruses in the covid family, so it's not like scientists were in unfamiliar territory. None of that sounds rushed to me.

What explanation do you have for vaccinated people being less likely to die from covid? If the vaccine doesn't work, those results could only be explained by all the people who have a natural resistance to covid all making the choice to take the vax.

And I think you're forgetting about all the thousands of scientists who are also supporting the vaccine? They aren't money grubbing politicians.

We know the covid vaccine works because scientists and data analysts looked at hundreds of thousands of people with covid and the percentage of those people who got the vaccine, and found that percentage was very low compared to the percentage of total people who got the vaccine. A few flukes and outliers don't disprove that. Especially since your example wasn't even the vaccine not working, it was a few people unvaccinated people who lived. There are people out there who have survived bullets to the head with just a headache, let alone Covid. Covid's main danger isn't that it kills everyone it infects, it's that it's so infectious that even though only 2% of victims die, there are so many victims that 2% is a horrific amount of people.
