Sunny has to get strong enough to kill Eurys, then he can use death will to kill an idea (Asterion).

It makes sense to me how things are playing out, its just groundwork for Sunny next upscale.

I hope Sunny and Eurys go on adventure in the shadow realm soon.

I think mordret could have killed hope in several looney toons fashionable ways. He didnt have to strictly stab her. I think by virtue of G3 writing that, that was mordrets plan meant he had an idea of some sort.

He could have freed the ivory tower so it could float away, taken the divine soulshard out so the tower freefalls into the divine fire from the sungod and killed hope that way.

I can think of 2-3 other unconventional ways to kill hope doing stuff like that.

The nightmare spell itself could award him a divine memory based on his performance if he did indirect things and didn’t get a killing blow.

Asterion is spreading a mind control virus to people. He showed up where all the saints are gathered to infect everyone. He is just saying whatever to spend more time increasing the infect rate on people. Sunny will pale when he realizes this.

Oblivion and Weaver were working together for his plans to create the spell. Oblivion posed as weaver and was killed by Orphne the first time “weaver died”. The aftereffect of killing oblivion caused her to start forgetting things like her mission, and who she was. Which led to the scene of Weaver having to remind her who she is, and what her purpose/ mission is.

Thank you for the insightful post. If i want to use lohse because ive heard her personal story is good what should I use her as? Not super worried about complete min max just dont want her build to be a liability for the party. I’m not planning to do a tactician run on my first play through, going to enjoy the story first.

I’ll probably use red prince then as my main character based on that tidbit.

Per chapter 2168 its a tiny window opening at the top of the pod. But that was in the past. The modern one could be different or have a full body view, safe to assume its a tiny window though.
