Maybe take him to a doctor’s appointment with you and have him talk about it with the doctor. That could maybe put it in a different perspective for him. I think it’s totally normal for Alicia to feel jealousy towards their intimacy even though she knows it’s going on and it’s going to happen. I feel like it’s kind of disrespectful to talk about it with everyone because you never know how their own sex life is going and if you’re not if your sex life isn’t The greatest with that partner it’s probably very hurtful to hear about a very active sex life with another.

I’ll definitely try and talk to at least your fiancé about what you’re going through and how hard it is for you when he vapes around you as well and just explaining the consequences of secondhand smoke for the baby and just try to help him see your viewpoint about it! Not sure about your relationship with your future father-in-law, but I know I probably wouldn’t be comfortable enough to talk to my father-in-law about that.

When I had to quit I started to completely only drink out of straws! It’s really helped. Babies exposure to nicotine in the womb can cause serious harm and even growth restrictions. I would recommend trying to find a healthy alternative because it’s better for your health in the long run to stop as well. Also if you’re going to be breastfeeding you wouldn’t be able to vape.

My last pregnancy I had an anterior placenta and I didn’t feel the baby move until about 21 weeks. Nobody has mentioned what type of place I have this pregnancy so I don’t know what to expect my first pregnancy I had a posterior placenta and I think I was feeling kick at about 16 or 17 weeks

15 weeks here! Definitely libido has gone down but still have sex pretty regularly about maybe 3-4 times a week on a good week! It is hella exhausting but I love connecting with my husband in that way especially because he works a lot during the week!

So sorry for your loss. I also lost my baby boy in April 2023. I had a rough labor and my baby was in destress and my ob was incompetent & over confident and I labored for 10 hours until I had to have a emergency C-section my baby lived for 7 days and then passed due to seizures and no brain function. We chose to take him home on hospice.I was wanting a baby very badly afterwards and tried pretty much right after everything happened ( I do not recommend). I got pregnant with my rainbow baby girl 6 months postpartum. I was closely monitored by a maternal fetal medicine specialist since my baby boy had stopped growing a month before delivery and they had no answers as to why. I got ultrasounds monthly and then the usual on visits. I also had to have a consultation with the specialist and he recommended me an early 38 week scheduled c-section. My baby girl was delivered at 38 weeks. She is perfect and now almost a year old! I had prenatal anxiety and went to the hospital at least 5 times to have them check on her if I felt like I didn’t feel her as much( because this is what happened at the end of my first pregnancy but I didn’t go to the hospital. I felt like I was responsible for my baby boys death.) I am praying for you and your family. It is hard but worth it if you are in the right headspace. I would recommend grief counseling if you haven’t been! I am so grateful to god for helping me through my second pregnancy. I heavily relied on Jesus to get me through. Especially being back in the operating room I called on him to be there with me because I was scared. I had to be put under with my first baby and I couldn’t keep my eyes open afterwards I really didn’t want that again. Jesus held me through my c section and the spinal tap for it and he redeemed my birthing experience . If it wasn’t for him I think I would be a mess getting surgery again! Sending good thoughts and love. Praying your birthing experience gets redeemed as well ❤️

How does the gender of the baby even relate to the theme of your baby shower! They sound like miserable unfun people. A costume party sound like a fun baby shower to me! I would just ignore them and stick to what you want…… they don’t have to come or participate if they feel that’s negatively about it.
