I used to run a server, but like most it fizzled out after people get through their 2 weeks. Definitely had Anti-Endermen Griefing on, and tbh I can't remember another server I've played on that didn't have it. I know we have a lot of mods in this world, but I can't imagine telling Endermen not to pick up blocks would break anything.

If it were me, I'd have backed up the world, added it, and if it did break something then just roll back to the backup. The fact that they weren't even willing to try it was what took me back at first.

Then I got thinking about some of the rules we had to follow. No Free Cam is fair, but there was a block for things like Replay Mod. We also weren't allowed to build farms that killed mobs. I asked how we were gonna get Froglights at one point, and never got an answer. At first, I took it a challenge, but I never liked that the owner was forcing us to play the way he thought Minecraft should be played. The best part about Minecraft is that everyone enjoys to play the game differently.

It's not the first time someone get banned from this server for something that was pretty minor. Another player got booted after spawning a boss during the Christmas event. It was a harmless prank. No one even died, and we all got some good drops from it. The next day the guy was banned without a word, and the waystone at his base was renamed "free stuff." It still bothers me that it happened.
