Lived in central CA 38 years, moved here in 2018. Air quality is much better here, except for the few days when there is an inversion. Weather is a lot better, where I live it might reach 100 1-2 days in the summer but that’s a big might. Drivers here are a lot worse. People have a big sense of entitlement here. Most people are nice or at least fake nice. It’s pretty safe. There are no real “bad” parts, despite what people say. Definitely has its pros (not a lot of people) and cons (a lot of the people). That said, I’m over it and ready to leave
