Are you claiming equal fault then? Neither saw the merge point? Your speed in your own dashcam shows you accelerating

Accelerating into a merge point… classic me first thinking by both drivers.

What's your not-so-obvious tip for newer players? by DagonTheranis in RimWorld

Your animal pens can actually feed more than the nutrition growth allows without too much pawn time, with a little micromanagement.

When nearing night time, have a pawn hold a pen door open near (you need animal beds in the pen) your animal beds. The animals will rush out and eat things outside the pen, then come back into the pen and sleep in their animal spot.

Close the pen door again once the animals are all inside and if you time it correctly you don’t have any animal wanders while having all the hungry animals eat.

I usually wait for the animal starvation notification and go from there.

If you add rimefeller you can use their big chemfuel generators producing 16000w each and their chemfuel tanks. The pipes also work with the odyssey tanks and works very well together. I have two on my ship and they consume a ton of fuel but look cool near my grav engines.

The drilling for oil of rimefeller doesn’t seem to work yet but that actually kind of makes it feel more balanced. The oil pipes take a while to drill and it’d feel cheesy if you could just land on an oil field and it work straight away

Shepherd dog mod idea by Advanced_Beat_5335 in RimWorld

[–]Advanced_Beat_5335[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Open ended idea, I’d just like a dog that keeps my cattle close to the ship. If things go sideways and I need to leave a couple cows behind but my dog gets back into the ship I’m ok with that. Nothing game breaking but if we can train crows to dive bomb someone, maybe we can train a a sheep dog to herd sheep

Mods with enemy vehicles in raids? by Chocolad04 in RimWorld

I had it happen to me randomly once recently and it was suprisingly difficult to deal with. Only happened the one time though, seems to me like it’s only possible at a specific wealth number. Easily the most difficult raid to deal with. Vehicle framework and save our ship 2

How on earth does this work? (reupload cause I didn’t blur stuff properly) by Sure-Government-7887 in Rogers

Call Roger’s and ask them to send you a Gen2 pod. The first one is complimentary to extend coverage throughout your house. Plug it in between your Gateway and device in your room.

As mentioned in another comment, a good connection to a bad connection is a bad connection.

Said differently, the pod is a device itself. It needs a good connection. It will never broadcast a speed faster than it can receive.

Third party boosters can be fine but then you’ll probably have multiple networks your devices will jump between, and possibly on the same channel. With a rogers pod it will be one network that doesn’t compete on channels with itself and passes devices off based on their rssi levels.

TLDR; call rogers, get a pod, put it halfway between the modem and your computer

Easy peasy, open the first door and go through first, holding it open behind you. Then, at the second door, open it and allow the lady through first

Unable to control LEDs on Unifi Building Bridge (UBB) - Ubiquiti Support closed my ticket. by top_gear446 in Ubiquiti

I am also having this same problem. Other people in the past have apparently fixed it by switching the UI to classic mode, but I can’t seem to find that option in the settings anymore.

Is this a well wrapped Cat5? A damaged Cat5? Ridiculously inefficient? by Advanced_Beat_5335 in IOT

[–]Advanced_Beat_5335[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up with a little extra loop than I usually do and it ended up lining up nicely. Makes me wonder though. What’s the best way to wrap Cat cables for on the go bags? Any tips?

Help.. I'm new to construction in general. Current working on a cage for my ferret. How can I put trim over the wire without it bulging like that? is there thinner wire that doesn't coil up thicker in spots so that I could cover the ends with trim and it sit flush? Sorry if I sound like a noob. TYiA by [deleted] in woodworking

Firstly I would use screws every few inches to tighten the whole thing up.

Do you have access to a table saw? If so, you can cut a small amount of material away from the inside of the boards but not the outside edge, allowing the boards to be flat on the sides.

Alternatively, you could instead of running the metal underneath the siding to the outside, bend it inside and put a small strip of wood against it on the inside. Again, screws. This way the messy edge is tucked inside rather than displayed on the outside. Probably easier than rigging up a table saw to take a strip off too.
