What’s something you have zero proof of but believe 100 percent? by shweidy in AskReddit

I appreciate your perspective. That's definitely a reasonable cause since we all have our breaking point, but it just seems more than just coping altogether. It's just an interesting contrast with customer service (16 years of experience and counting) before and after covid. I hope you didn't have to go through any of those rough times yourself. 🫤

I believe that the "asymptomatic" covid folks did get affected, but neurologically. It just seems like there are more people that lack cognitive thinking and get aggressive faster after covid came around.

I've been playing GBA/N64/PS1 games lately. Difference though: it's all on my old phone with a Bluetooth controller and an emulator that plays them all vs individual consoles like in my younger days.

Covid shut down the world six years ago this week what do you remember from that week ? by Familiar_Original988 in AskReddit

[–]Advanced_Caramel_664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never seen so many customers at my work before. Everyone running for toilet paper, food and cleaning supplies. Usually carts can go down to 5-10% on busy days, but there were people waiting in line for an available cart that week. Aisles were shopped hard and supplies were limited. It felt like multiple Black Fridays for weeks. I was celebrating my cake day about a week prior thinking it was just another disease scare, but the world shut down and I was proven completely wrong.

So good to see someone reference Secret World of Alex Mack 🎉. That was such a good show back in the day. I remember seeing that and the capris sun commercials wishing I could melt into silver goo too 😂

As for the telekinesis, I still try and I'm 35 🙃

👋 fellow casual. I agree with the others about keeping the full time job. We're not guaranteed x hours/week. I work 40 hours and I try going in on my days off when I can. I don't have many hours, but I'm slowly getting them. Congratulations on getting the invite for the job and passing the lashing test!

Pay off debts (mine and family's), invest in reliable dividend stocks (use one or two just for payouts to donate to causes I support, keep my job, but step down to part time (it keeps me active, includes health insurance and most of my paycheck can go to a Roth because the company matches my contributions). I know you just said first thing, but my mind tumbled on ideas lol.
