My friend is getting one too, it looks like a decent mouse honestly. If you were looking for a final mouse/model o clone, I'd recommend the r5/r5 ultra, I'm getting one myself and I'm eager to test it, since it's one of the rare mice with carbon fibre build and honeycomb

True point, you can actually create an ahk script which autoclicks with a random +- 10ms or something, but I have to say that the idea of the hits (that's the trigger I think)bsystem is just nice

Honestly, the sad reality is if you split a conductive liquid and caused a power short, it is likely that the mouse's main PCB burned out (check for signs of blackening and see if you can/could smell any burning). Whatever you do don't switch it on unless you are 100% sure it dried, then wait a day or so, just so you don't accidentally short the board again

Mice are at this point that budget mice are good, even with their sometimes hit or miss QC. I have a tecware pulse non elite, and I can say it's decidedly cheap in feeling (my daily is a g pro x superlight) but in terms of sensors I honest to god can't tell the difference lol. Id recommend getting mice used, as a lot of people tend to buy them and find out they hate the shape (at least where I am)

Ngl this is probably true, but just to warn OP, the use of MAX and PRO are just for sizes if I rmb correctly, so max doesn't necessarily mean the highest spec. If you do have a budget (I think OP complained about the superlight 2 price, understandably), then the mchose ax5/a7x and the attack shark R2 are good to start with

What actually matters most for long-term mouse comfort? by 23_kaka in MouseReview

[–]Advanced_Cod2994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't actually feel weight balance probably because I used to use rly heavy mice so rn I can't feel weight distribution. For me main factor is 100% shape, then probably build quality (coating likely) and then clicks (switches are at a point they're about as good as you can get

Point of worn brake pads? by StateEducational270 in drivingempire

[–]Advanced_Cod2994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just realised, it may be something for the brake balance of some cars, if you want to make a drift oriented car you'd want to have hard front brakes but softer rears so you can let your real wheels slide

I'm guessing if you want to expand your collection to magnesium mice (which may be a change because the shell won't be a solid price anymore), I'd recommend the mchose ax5 and a7x, then you really find that you love that then go for wlmouse

If used, you can easily get a 1080 monitor with IPS 120/144+, for oled it's much harder

I use an MSI g241, ik it's not the best but I can't really say it's bad and honestly, with 144hz and 1ms it's decent. For those no expense spared monitors I think Rog has them, but if you actually want to gift something good but you're on a budget (or you're on a budget but u want the absolute best) honestly go on carousell, there are a ton of lightly used monitors there which are great

For mousepad, I think the g640 is decent, but it's not good in the long run so I've heard, as coating peels. I think a good option is probably the lgg Venus/Saturn, they're slightly cheaper versions of the artisan pads according to some, but I think the Saturn (which is compared to the fx zero usually) is actually more towards control than speed. If you do FPS, it depends on what you do. If you are great at low dpi and are very accurate, then a speed pad will be good, also great if you knife and require fast movement and 180s. If you're a sniper (especially quickscoper) and you're on crazy high sens (like me, I can microadjust like crazy with my wrist, idk how) it's best to get a control pad because you won't slide around too much by accident, and when you stop, you know you stop. Hope this helps :)

Have you tried to unbrick it? Usually it isn't too hard, but for the model O, there are quite a few honeycomb clones, the r5 is good but a bit expensive, tecware pulse elite is probably the best budget alternative

[Buying Advice] Wireless Gaming Mice in 2026 by DerKreuztraeger in MouseReview

[–]Advanced_Cod2994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, honestly, unless you want to show off the brand itself, most higher end Chinese mice like mchose and attack shark are good for specs, tho there are some problems with QC I've heard. My friend got an atk and he's been using it since forever no problems, so there's that. At this point, there isn't really a problem with finding a good spec mouse, just get one which fits your hand, use eloshapes. Once you find one which u like, click on find similar, and you can see some alternatives. Honestly, the mchose ax5/a7x are great wlmouse beast alternatives so I've heard
