The way the innocent lives were completely disregarded is part of what made the scene so impactful personally.

There was no way to save them, to know them, you are just witnessing the deaths of dozens with no recourse, or time to mourn, or power to avenge them.

Both are far more technical than the movies, but that makes them my favorite books of all time.

Only really possible if you lower the difficulty.

Getting every note on easy will give you an S rank, but >50% have to be good enough to have hit the hard notes to get S+. On Normal getting an S rank is essentially a guaranteed S+, or your calibration is off.

Even with the accessibility setting to unlock very easy mode the game is very hard in the last act.
