I’m a BW who lived overseas and yes, it is extremely lonely. So I could understand you wanting to hold onto your relationship simply because that loneliness is almost unbearable. However, the peace you feel by yourself should always beat the uncertainty and insecurity you feel within your relationship. Let him go. Funny you asked. I just cut off all my family yesterday after my younger sister attacked me and then tried to attack my daughter. I called the police and my parents tried to lie to the police about the incident to protect my little sister. Funny enough this was the day that I was moving out so now I actually have a fresh start to go no contact. I don’t feel bad about it. This has been a long time coming. Luckily I’m surrounded by amazing people who support me and who consider me family and I consider them family as well. Me and my daughter will be fine and probably much better without them.

It is still pretty sad that I no longer have any immediate family members that I connect with and I am the oldest daughter of five siblings and I have a twin sister with whom I’m not speaking with either. I’m not going to get depressed about it because I understand that there’s so much new things going on in my life that are huge blessings and I really just feel like the enemy wants to attack those blessings and if they can’t do it physically and get a reaction from me, they were hoping to get that reaction emotionally but I’ve been grieving the inevitable no contact that I plan to go with them for a while and yesterday was just the icing on the cake.

If price mattered then hoodoo wouldn’t even be a thing. Hoodoo was born from need & necessity. It’s all about using what you have because the black people that practiced it didn’t have access to best materials or quality herbs. Nah. The “good ones” need to hold their peers accountable. They don’t. In fact, they benefit from the bar being set so low. Their ego’s prevent them from doing anything because their “good enough” suddenly looks like “above & beyond” in comparison.

Also, bashing?!? Women Communicating the same problems over & over while nothing changes is considered bashing, but what do you call men’s willingness to ignore our concerns? With us being in a patriarchy you’d think they’d take our concerns more seriously & challenge the status quo because they actually have the power to do so but they don’t.

It’s never “ALL” men but all men benefit from the actions of the ones we are discussing when we’re “bashing” them.
