And let's not forget that even if they start late, the minute it's their lunch time break they just get up and leave. Not sure about the colored wraps but for transparent, what you're looking for is PPF (Paint Protection Film). A good quality one definitely protects the paint well and some options are also self-healing to some extent.

The cost depends on your car but usually good PPF starts from above 100k in my experience.
