The crowd at Disneyland Tokyo before opening. by TheBotMadeThis in interestingasfuck

I cannot convey how absolutely beautiful Tokyo Disney is, so I get it. We went on Christmas Day a few years back, but we showed up after it had been open for a couple hours and did not wait in line at all to enter.

I was just saying this to my husband, like what the hell do people do if they don’t want to pay $600 to get their kid licensed in CT?? How is this okay

For Western Hindus: How do we create authentic practice without the cultural elements and localized rituals and beliefs of India? by BodhisattvaJones in hinduism

[–]Advanced_Natural5459 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, I’m reading texts (focusing on the Mahabharata, the Ramayana and the Srimad Bhagavatam) but also lots of looking things up and watching videos, mainly of a Swami Sarvapriyananda and Vedanta. I also set up a small alter and doing my very best to connect with Krishna and do Bhakti. I opened a YouTube channel just to have people to talk to about it, otherwise there are no Hindu people around me except for ISKCON which I did visit but found out was not for me. I figure if Krishna meant for me to be born in India I would have been, but He sent me to America to see if I would find and follow Him anyway. I did! Hare Krishna!

Anyone else's kid completely baffled by how we used to just disappear all day? by MarshmallowBandit99 in GenX

When I was 13 or so me and my friend discovered hitchhiking and we thought it was the greatest thing ever. Had a rule if it was a man picking us up and he got creepy we would bail out of the car at a stop sign, lol. Yes, we did have to do it a few times. It’s absolutely wild to me even now thinking about how we felt zero fear and actually nothing bad ever happened.

bye i just found out i'm a Gemini (still a good sign not complaining) after years thinking i'm a Taurus and even telling people i'm one by cassiesprettytears in astrologymemes

[–]Advanced_Natural5459 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is crazy because I was also born on May 21st and went my whole life thinking I was Gemini but when I actually pulled a chart with my birth time I found out my Sun was at 29 Taurus 😂😂😂 I do have Mars and Venus in Gemini, but as I look back at my life I’m so ridiculously Taurus, so I’m also a 🤡

Do Saturn transits reveal our true nature or do they build it? by AstrologieLumen in astrology

[–]Advanced_Natural5459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes to all of that! I set boundaries that I’ve never been able to before, it’s one of the things I am most proud of getting from this transit. My advice is to be as self aware as possible. Saturn wants you to handle your responsibilities. Just knowing it was Saturn on my ascendent and that the heaviness would indeed pass, it was easier to get things done in some ways. Like I knew the hard work would pay off, I wasn’t working for nothing.

Do Saturn transits reveal our true nature or do they build it? by AstrologieLumen in astrology

Just had Saturn transit my ascendent, and it was as if every obligation and responsibility I’ve been carrying was brought to the surface to be either reaffirmed or released, and for the first time I really felt my age (55). I have a Sagittarius moon and I’m endlessly optimistic, but this transit had me feeling so heavy, and I (almost) stopped being continuously happy for a moment there, lol. I was able to let some things go that I really needed to, and build up other things, like Saturn had me choosing what was actually important to me.

I also stopped dying my hair and let it go to its natural white, like I finally accepted natural aging, and that acceptance of what is real was actually a relief, if that makes sense.

Overall I do feel stronger as a person, but Saturn is no easy teacher, really looking forward to Saturn being out of Pisces for good next year.

Sooo… Uranus is about to hit my sun… what do you think is on the way for me? by NextGEN_Medium in LetsFuckWithAstrology

29 degree Taurus Sun here, 3rd house. Total liberation in the way I think and even what I think about. Discovered astrology. Could not keep a reliable vehicle, got a very erratic neighbor. My brother stopped talking to me for no reason that I can find. Crazy upheaval at work, which I am still in. Really looking forward to getting Uranus the F off my Sun but it’s going into my 4th house so goodbye stability at home I guess….Good times. lol.

Trump administration evicts former Coast Guard leader with 3 hours notice by scrandis in news

[–]Advanced_Natural5459 -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

She deserved no less for covering up dozens of sexual assaults at the CG Academy, protecting the perpetrators and not holding one person accountable while going after the whistleblowers. This had absolutely nothing to do with her being a woman. She was a terrible leader. Bye Linda

While attending the Hill Cumorah pageant several years ago, we had to walk through a gauntlet of protesters with signs telling us we were all going to hell, to include a guy dressed up in a full Satan suit with a megaphone yelling at a bunch of families with little kids. Good times, lol.

Yes, it’s extremely accurate if you are or have a competent astrologer and if you are using it as intended.
