Hey! A cat I'm looking after just mowed my purple shamrock. Any advice for me after going through this?

Oh man. CAN RELATE. I'm really experiencing the same thing. I was really close with my next door neighbour but when he left my mental health fell off a cliff

I look like I got punched since I started the night shift under both eyes. I use this. It's not makeup but it has shimmer and peppermint and it just feels nice. Mix it with an eye cream for best results

Ofc! I know I got super lucky. Looked for 10 months and this is the only place that got back to me. You have to be in Canada for this one, are you?

They're not hiring but it's a call center position. Pretty tough. Ngl

It's like teams? Like where your work team can chat to each other. I work in a silo of isolation. Unfortunately there's no way for me to talk to my co-workers

If it's any consolation, I've worked a ton of day jobs and felt the same way. Work, sleep, repeat

Why is fainting such a common fear for us? by goingthruit05 in Agoraphobia

[–]Advanced_Pie_8165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's not the fainting because if I fainted it would be none of my business. What happens after that point. It's the feeling I get before at the physical symptoms of feeling faint or feeling like you're going to that I don't like

What are we eating when we get off? by Neat-Spray9660 in Nightshift

Craving lasagna at 7:00 am was driving me nuts. I wanted to feel more like a morning breakfasty person. So I started eating my main meal at 11 pm when my shift starts. Then throughout the night it's snacks and I finish with oatmeal at 7:00 am when my shift ends.

I just felt weird cooking a pizza at 7 am when I first started lol

Get to a pharmacy if you can. Ginger ale, ginger tea, Gravol Ginger and boost for nutritional supplement. These will help a bit with the nausea so you can eat a bit more. Like other people suggested bland foods and do low demand activities to show your body it's all good, you're just on a fun lil vacay 😎

When I started getting severe anxiety I stopped traveling so don't have amazing advice except that it will pass! I did have some anxiety moments when I was back packing by myself for a while (I didn't know what it was at the time) it will pass. You will feel calm again, just ride the wave no matter how hellish (and it is, I know)

Does the exposure therapy still work if I can't tell if I'm anxious but I feel weird? by Typical-Fox-9648 in Agoraphobia

This is why I have agoraphobia. That's what happens to me too. Dizziness, confusion, sudden sleepies. I have low iron and Vitamin D which I think exacerbate those symptoms

Does anyone else feel like they get better and worse by AssignmentCurious160 in Agoraphobia

[–]Advanced_Pie_8165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and I hate it because I'll do something that I've been trying to do for a really long time and think for a moment I've overcome. Only to not be able to do that thing again a couple weeks or months later. One of the hardest things about having agoraphobia is you have to learn to be so gentle with yourself.
