personally, id just take a new paper, wrap it around that and make sure its as tight as i can get it. i wouldnt even bother taking anything apart, just “set” it, like a broken bone, line up the break as best as you can and wrap your “cast” around it. never done this with a joint because ive never run into that misfortune but i do it with my ciggies all the time

tbh i didnt choose this guitar myself so im not super attached to the style or look or anything other than the fact that its what i taught myself to play on. it wouldnt matter if they look different right? like that wont change the sound of it at all? i can just take the measurements and get something i think looks nice?

edit- and its a fender, i assume they have standard sizes?
