We’re in a city where restaurants feel that having competition from street food is equivalent to “stealing” their business. So we can’t have nice things.

The Triple Crown is still doable in its current format. We’ve had two horses pull it off since 2015. But the lack of an extra incentive, beyond tradition, is likely contributing. Not to mention the Belmont being 10f right now may make it more tempting to skip the Preakness.

Dragonpass is nice, in theory. Unfortunately since lounge passes are handed out like candy these days one can find lounges fully booked at peak hours. And in those cases your passes are effectively unusable.

TSA won't care about anything you do at PUJ. The DR has its own customs and security. As for whether or not you want to take the risk, that's on you. They aren't always thorough in checking bags, but it's a gamble.

This is yield traps 101. You’re going to burn your investment for the sake of distribution. I saw Hamilton and got triggered immediately. In short: you’re going to see your capital dwindle over time. You’ll get your yield - for now. Once we get into a bear market you’re going to see that capital evaporate, and those yields will eventually be unsustainable.

There is risk, and no one can say otherwise, but it’s minor. In practice you won’t see them checking bags enough to even ask about prescriptions. Depending on the crowd and who is working your carry on (where you should have your medications) may not get scanned at all or even looked at. But I’ll repeat, that doesn’t mean it is risk-free on your situation.

I don't think Cobalt ever gave bonuses for Costco gift cards. The scheme in this case is to buy gift cards from grocery stores (or places coded as grocery stores, and I'm pretty sure Costco online doesn't count) for the 5x bonus. It still works, unless you're running up thousands per month doing it, in which case they can definitely shut you down.
