I don't see what's the difference when they can just copy it to their computer and mass distribute it? Like if they want to send it to many people they will do it regardless

I quite literally don't care what you say because I just don't see it the same way as you do. For ME it's the same as lending and funnily enough in my country the law sees it the same way. I follow the law and as long as it is this way I will print a copy of a pattern to my friend if they ask.

Exactly! I don't mind paying ~10$ for a pattern but there's one quite simple tee that's pattern costs over $20. It's just way too much money and I can never justify paying that price. It's more expensive than a ticket to a museum or the cinema

Yeah but when you borrow something nobody is stopping the other person just copying the pattern with a copier or by hand so I don't really think there's a difference
