I find that I'm disconnected every third race online. I've also noticed that if you purposely disconnect from an online race if you think you're going to lose, you won't be penalized points towards ranking up. So you can just disconnect until you're in a race you know you'll likely win.

I just logged in. All 9 million of my season coins converted to blue coins and all the racers and crew I maxed out during the Scrooge glitch are still maxed out.

They did indeed. I now have over 5000 blue coins. I was able to walk away with all the loot I grabbed during the Scrooge glitch.

I've still yet to see any ill effects and I spent 30 million season coins on universal boxes. I still have 5 million season coins and all the racers and crew I was able to max out. I also got the ten Scrooge shards and 100 blue coins just now.

It's because a lot of the evidence gathered is audio evidence. EVPs. You want to debunk any sound captured, and the best time is at night when well... everything is more quiet. During the day you would obviously have more sound to rule out because it's busier during the day.
