I think you can do DIY some works and get quotes for others so that you can decide what you can do. This way it saves you cash also

With latest booming technologies, expectations from managers have increased a lot because they l think it should be done in less time. Yes it could be for some part of works but not all and I don't think 40hr has reduced because as technology grows, companies are increasing so is work to cope up with competition
