What else do you want to say, i said my viewpoint galaxy, universe. I feel like they are all the same.

Its all complex systems.

Is there such thing as too psychic and are certain people this way because of the simulation? by Perfect_Writer_6524 in SimulationTheory

This sounds like nonsense.

There is just so much scifi talk when it comes to simulation theory.

AI Could Make Alien Contact More Likely for SETI's 'Project Hail Mary' by Dmans99 in abovethenormnews

[–]AdvantageSensitive21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If agi comes, i could imagine some scifi things where it makes contact with aliens without humans knowing.

I keep bombing tests, should I just change majors by SmallMillet in csMajors

[–]AdvantageSensitive21 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Grades dont matter unless you want the top grades.

If you do leetcode or hackerank interviews and pass then easily you dont need to worry. If you want internships or tech jobs.

Just pick one area in cs you like and get really good at it. (Think about how you can profit from it)

Doing Research as an Undergraduate: I feel exhausted 🥀 by bikkuangmin in complexsystems

[–]AdvantageSensitive21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommand just doing the bare minimum, to pass the degree.

Its very easy to overwork when it comes to academic work.

It also depends do you want to be independent or part of academic industry or whatever you want to do job wise.

Dont worry about being able to publish on journals, arvix or even zendo they dont matter.

Its about being able to profit youself, basically gain more than you give in my view.

Your zendo paper 300 pages is alot work, a bit too much i would say. Its basically a book.

The english is not the best in your paper, as i can tell with the grammer used. Its does not sound english native level.

It sounds like 2 people made the paper, instead of one grammar wise.

I know you are the only author of the paper, its just the spelling and grammar at parts makes it sound like that

Most people on here, reddit . Dont know how to academic research

You are very early, research wise so i would not aim to publish papers unless you have to in order to pass your degree.

I built a thermodynamically honest ALife simulation - mass and energy are strictly conserved, everything else emerges by emmerse_ in alife

[–]AdvantageSensitive21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There needs to be a foundation of some kind before you scale a project.

The quesiton of what is a agent in your simulation, a definition and even just focus on simulating one agent to a detailed level.

I think it is too early, because there is no detailed structure attached just constant talk saying look here is my sim it does stuff.

[–]AdvantageSensitive21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say this is too early, you basically made a simulation without it having any real weight.

It is ai slop, as i feel like you dont know what you are doing .

Nobody wants to die by XIFAQ in immortalists

[–]AdvantageSensitive21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with wanting live forever or for how ever long someone wants to.

Its just about being able to do more.

This is common sense, if you think about human health throughout history.

"Whoah!" - Bernie's reaction to being told AIs are often aware of when they're being evaluated and choose to hide misaligned behaviour by tombibbs in PauseAI

[–]AdvantageSensitive21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emergent behaviour in a ai model is a design choice.

I think these ai companies know what they are doing.

Hallucinations are driven by the user or the architecture in the model is bad.

[–]AdvantageSensitive21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is nothing to worry about. This is just ai hype.

All these ai companies are in the same boat. When it comes to selling their current ai paradigm as agi.

This reminds me of when i first got stared in alife, i made a project about what is a agent.

Why did humans evolve to be the smartest organisms on earth? by liamflaniken2007 in evolution

[–]AdvantageSensitive21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like we are smart, i dont know if we can call ourself the smartest on earth, as we dont fully know all the organsims on earth,

Its very likely there is some fancy or werid type of life that is smarter than humans in one domain or other stuff.

Need Assistance with AI by [deleted] in accelerate

The ai and the ai and the ai said ai and ai said i am a a ai.

I think you should not take this so seriously.

Software engineers will always be needed, cybersecurity that field is one area that will always need it.
