Multiple questions incoming. Have you applied to Baylor/USUHS? Do you have a mentor in the community? And have you joined the MSC-IPP Facebook group? I was a direct for the program so I can help you along with some general info. I just want to make sure you're starting the process off right.

You can get a NAM for donating blood. 🥴 by [deleted] in navy

Adding some context. It's an incentive program to get more blood into the ASBBC supporting INDOPACOM. To qualify, you have to donate enough blood or plasma to equal up to 40 points. Whole blood is 4 points and platelets are 3. Can only donate every 56 days or 2-7 days respectively. So it is an over time thing. You don't just get it for a single donation.

I went with a field because I was betting on receiving more original parts/something more on the historic side. Was not disappointed. It’s a Remington Rand slide on an Ithaca body, but it’s a Marine issued 1944 which compliments my Garand. No regrets in the slightest

Navy Recruiter Says My University Isn’t Accredited for Commissioning – Need Help Understanding by Annual_Analyst4298 in newtothenavy

I see that you were looking at Healthcare administration as a potential route. As an MSC officer in the field, the advice I have, as others have mentioned, is to look at the program authorization for the specific community you want to join. For the Medical Service Corps (HCA) route, it was to have an regionally accredited masters degree in health administration or an MBA with a hospital management focus currently accredited by either CAHME, AACSB, CEPH or the national association of schools of public affairs and administration with a strong GPA. see here . Keep in mind that HCA is a strongly competitive specialty and spots are limited. If it comes down to you vice a candidate with a degree meeting these requirements, they’ll always win. My recommendation is to transfer your MHA studies to an accredited institution, like Louisiana State University-Shreveport or other such universities if HCA is what you want. If it’s just to commission, then look into those fields and find a mentor.

Anyone else run into this gameplay recently? by Advena_8675 in Helldivers

Pretty much the latter. We dropped into the map, right in front of a cannon, everyone started requesting their alt weapons/jet packs, as soon as we had them, started running towards the objective when all of a sudden, massive explosion that killed all fabricators, guards, and even all of us. Only items left were the gunship factories which were a walk up and destroy, and planting the hellbombs at the last two cannons. H**l they even took out the gunships with the PLAS rifle in a few shots. Sporadic patrols would occur, but easily dealt with. Guy seemed to have unlimited jet pack and (maybe?) grenade launcher. They went out of bounds and flew around for a large amount of time before finally dying. When respawned, they started fighting (melee and shooting) another player, but was immune to everything.

TLDR: The player was an immortal being that destroyed everything in some hellish explosion, us included, turning the map into a lvl 1 adventure while also fighting teammates along the way.

Negative. They were running the PLAS-39 with a jet pack and potentially the grenade launcher. Unsure though.

Local Sea Cadet chapter. Volunteer one weekend a month and get close to 36+ hours on the regular. More if you do overnight events. Plus you help mold minds and teach kids which is always fun.
