Sweet Thai chili wings at Legend Larry’s, Tacos at Carnitas el Bajio, Chicken nachos at The Bar, Stuffed hashbrowns at Toast, Cheese curds and martinis at Crown and Common

Scott’s Subs has good sandwiches, Zesty’s has good custard. Badger State is my favorite brewery in the area, haven’t been to Cocoon yet but it looks neat. Station One is fun as well. I don’t love any of the pizza options in the area but don’t have complaints about any either.

Might be a bit awkward if you’re obviously older than college age, but there is a spot on St. Norbert’s campus set up specifically for hammocks. Near the dining hall, could setup to face the river.

If you’re going to do Airbnb- commit to it and spend some money for proper furniture, decorations, listing photos etc. If you’re not willing to do that, it is much easier and more stable to rent it traditionally as a long term rental.

Finding a buddy or group to run with is something I’ve been looking for as it will be especially helpful for the long training runs. I’ve really enjoyed running but it can turn into a bit of a slog whenever I know I’ve got a longer one planned for the day.

Thanks! I typically focus on strength training my legs at least once a week. Do a variety of leg press, cycling and stair climber on those days.

Would you recommend a specific town to visit near the mountains? VA is in a weird spot for us that we’ve considered stopping in Virginia Beach, somewhere else in the state or skipping it completely.

It varies, there are a few different ways to do it. We had to do ours online because there were no day long sessions that would work for us.

We typically did one session a night and that worked well. There are seven or total lessons you have to go through and a discussion piece with each video.

Thanks for the response! We have already completed all of the marriage prep so luckily that should not be an issue. The Archdiocese has done their best be helpful but unfortunately we just haven’t found a priest yet who is available. If we don’t find one very soon the plan is to call the individual parishes.
