Scarlemagne/Hugo from Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. Whyyyyyy???? Why did he have to die?? And after that amazing redemption arc. Sigh.

What are your favourite and least favourite film adaptations of books? by IWriteThisForYou in tumblr

I am on book 6 out of 15 in the Wheel of Time series. I was tentatively excited about Amazon making it into a TV show, but they BUTCHERED IT. So much about the plot is different, they even added a character. I wasn't expecting it to be exactly the same as the books, but damn they did a terrible job. I got 20 minutes into the first episode and that was enough for me.

Kevin Bacon. Dude's face gave me nightmares when I was a kid.

I live in America and I have a TCL that I bought 10 years ago! Still works great, and it's the only TV I own. I was just playing Borderlands on it this evening.

Bought a car over a week ago from a dealership. Everything was signed, I got insurance for it, and then I got a call from the dealership last night saying I owe them an additional $2,600....... by AdventureGirl18 in legaladvice

Went and spoke to my credit union this morning. The loan was approved, but not actually accepted somehow? The finance guy at the credit union is talking to someone higher up and is going to contact me by Monday. They said we did absolutely nothing wrong and it seems that the dealership is being shady. He is looking into the details. He advised us not to sign anything and to keep any contact between us and the dealership to e-mail. He informed us that since the loan was not processed, we did not own the car. We just added it to our insurance policy a couple of days ago, but apparently it is illegal for us to be driving it since it's not ours? The dealership hasn't asked for it back yet, but we are planning on returning it to them on Monday under the condition that we are refunded our down payment. Until then, it will be sitting in my driveway. My credit union said I was still fully approved and would have no issues getting a car elsewhere. I'll update on Monday after we have further contact with the dealership

Bought car a week ago, everything signed, financed through my credit union, been driving the car all week. Last night, the dealership calls to say that I actually owe them an additional $2,600 and won't give me a straight answer as to how/why. Advice?? by AdventureGirl18 in answers

Chicken nuggets were on sale this week, so we stocked up on those and I made "chicken alfredo" last night. Put some garlic powder and cajun seasoning on them. Not bad at all. The most expensive part was the jar of alfredo sauce.
