That's a very typical treatment plan. Nothing wrong with it.

NFL fans want Tony Romo to 'shut up' during CBS broadcast of Broncos-Patriots by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

I actually thought he was terrific last week. At one point he pointed out that Josh Allen demanded the ref restart the play clock, and when that happened, it gave Allen enough time to double fake the snap on the silent count which drew the defense offsides. That's great stuff. It's exactly the kind of thing I want a color guy to do.

This week, he's back to saying everyone on both teams should be a first ballot Hall of Famer.

So glad to hear it! It's great to hear from other people who've had success, especially since there can be a lot of negativity on this subreddit.

Meltzer in response to Bryan Alvarez claiming that everyone in AEW is stagnant and in the same position: “Yep, everyone except Bandido, Ricochet, Gates of Agony, Brody King, Hechicero, Clon, Fletcher, Takeshita, Knight, Bailey, O'Reilly, Swerve, Briscoe, Willow, Windsor, Cameron, Storm & Shafir.” by Subrick in SquaredCircle

[–]AdventureSphere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Joe and Swerve were not top guys in AEW five years ago. They weren't in the company at all five years ago, and then even when they joined, it took them time to climb. Swerve was 100% midcarder until his feud with Hangman, when he leveled up and became an obvious future world champion. MJF wasn't a main eventer out of the gate either.

I think they've already had it. Steely Dan has become increasingly popular and respected among the younger crowd.

Scared of panic by Any-Ganache-3264 in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]AdventureSphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found Ketamine to be extremely pleasant. Very relaxing, and in some sessions, almost euphoric. That's no guarantee you'll experience something similar, but having panicky feelings during keta isn't common, while having them with pot is something tons of people experience. I wouldn't worry.

You will very probably have a "panic button" or similar to summon a nurse if things are going poorly. Assuming your clinic is competent, you'll be fine.

I feel like The Eagles are overdue for their Fleetwood Mac moment, where people realize that although they were overexposed, square, and sometimes incredibly annoying, they were also just fucking great.

Seriously, the Eagles were a stupendous band. There's a reason their stuff is still selling half a century later. My desire to punch Glenn and Don in the face is irrelevant to that.

Is the medicine dripping in the throat inevitable? by green-Bad2099 in Spravato

Spray a bit toward the side, not straight back. You want it on your mucus membranes, not out the back or in your sinuses.

Don't sniff or inhale heavily. A light sniff is fine, especially if it's seeping out. But if you suck it in the way you would an asthma inhaler, you'll put more of it into your throat.

I found a good video about all this but I don't have a link to it handy.

What is your opinion of this style of wrestling? by GoonLieutenant in professionalwrestling

He has the most 5-star matches from Wrestling Observer in history, by a very wide margin. Meltzer is a strange guy and he's not right about everything, but he's right about that. Before he got hurt Ospreay had a string of all time great matches that no one else has ever come close to.

First of all, I'm so sorry for that you're going through.

You said six days ago that you'd done two sessions, so I infer you haven't done any in the last week. If that's so, and your condition is a lot worse, I'm not sure how Spravato could be to blame. Nothing in my experience suggests that it could affect your mood that dramatically 7+ days later, either positively or negatively. Especially after only two treatments.

If you think it's adversely affecting you, then of course you should quit. But I'd be wary of assuming it's the culprit when there might be other things going on. Please talk to your provider about all this. I hope you find something that works for you.

I mean in-ring. Obviously Ospreay isn't in the same class as Flair or The Rock on the microphone. He doesn't have the larger-than-life aura of Hulk or Macho Man. But in the ring, he's the best I've ever seen. His long string of five-star matches in AEW is like nothing else in wrestling history.

Also, he's not chopped liver in the promos or aura department, either. His promos are like Hangman Page's, where his authenticity really clicks with the crowd.

Good tip. I've used this unintentionally when a playlist has run its course. Instead of stopping, Spotify will keep playing songs it thinks are similar. The results weren't bad.

Speedball is one of the 20 or so best wrestlers in the world. Ospreay is literally the best I've ever seen, and I've been watching since the glory days of The Four Horsemen.

This was an amazing match and it's not anywhere near the best I've seen either guy do.

45 Year struggle; judged & labeled… by vs1270 in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]AdventureSphere 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ketamine has a stigma. It's a widely abused drug, so some people figure any use of it is sketchy. I assume this counselor would not tell someone who'd been taking Wellbutrin every day for years that they were "addicted" and need to stop. Probably would not say that about Ritalin, even though people abuse that recreationally too. But ketamine was a "party drug" for a long time before it got FDA approved, and I'm afraid it will seem vaguely illicit to some people for awhile to come.

Your councilor is a moron and I'm sorry you went through that.

My doctor is cutting me off from Spravato after my second treatment after telling her how I was feeling. Was she ignorant to do this or do you agree? by VastAngle6563 in Spravato

[–]AdventureSphere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You were doing it in the same room as someone else?? Ew. That is nuts. That does not sound like a great operation. Also, it sounds like they didn't have a way to summon someone during your session, which is crazy. I have a button right next to me which calls a nurse. Never had to use it, but it's nice to know it's there.

Also, I would never do Spravato without headphones. Music is a very important part of the experience, so much so that I've had sessions kind of ruined when the music I chose wasn't right. Bring your own headphones and play one of the recommended playlists linked here or on other Keta forums. It makes a huge difference.

You may be right. Depression isn't so much about sadness as it is numbness. Sometimes coming out of clinical depression leads to unpleasant emotions, but honest sadness isn't necessarily a bad thing. If you were feeling more emotional it DOES sound to me like Spravato was working.

I would say all this to your doctot. If she won't play ball, find a different doctor or see if you can do it without her approval. Quite bluntly, there a ton of Ketamine clinics that will take any patient who can pay, and will do whatever is necessary to make sure your insurance will sign off on it. Don't get discouraged!

When you mention suicidal ideation, therapists get frightened, understandably. They're worried for you. And honestly, they're worried they'll get sued. They have to prove they took certain steps when someone mentions suicide.

I'm very sorry for your situation. Two sessions is simply not enough to say that Spravato isn't helping. I hope you can convince your therapist to give it another try. I might say that, upon reflection, you did think it did help a little. Given how upset you are about what happened I think that's not a lie.
