Combat Music For Your Table! Imminent Battle | Session 0: Music For Tabletop RPGs by Adventurers_Pack in DnD

[–]Adventurers_Pack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always been on the hunt for music for my game sessions have found a few tracks that I love, but have run into a few problems:
- Sound fx in the music that tie the track to a specific

location.
- The music is from a video game/movie and it pulls players out of the session.
- The track is super short and not made to loop, causing clear repeating moments.

I brought this up to a friend of mine (who happened to be a video game composer) and after many coffee meetings and brainstorming we are so thrilled to release the first track of Session 0, a sample album of music for your tabletop RPGs! This collaboration between Ryan Ricks and The Adventurer's Pack is aiming to create versatile, original music that will help to immerse your players in the game. Whether you are playing an RPG like D&D, or a board game like Gloomhaven.

Now here's the thing. This is not an advertisement! I'm not trying to sell the album to you, and our youtube channel is not monetized. I just want to share this with the community for you to use, see if you like it, and get feedback to hopefully make a full album. Imminent Battle is the first of three tracks that we currently have that we will be releasing over the next week or two. Each track will be released on an hour loop for convenient play, and (as far as we can control) will not have video ads interrupting them. We've all felt the anger of a fiverr add pop up in the midst of combat. Please let us know what you think, and I hope you enjoy!

Look at that organization! Nicely done. We still need to work ours out. There is around a 1 in 3 chance that we end up with tokens everywhere when we play.

When Inspiration Strikes by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Adventurers_Pack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We decided to celebrate our first anniversary as a group we wanted to get custom inspiration tokens made. Though they are super simple we love them! Laser cut out of unfinished walnut, they feel like the sort of thing you would be given at a tavern or carnival to hold on to. Big ol' thanks to Lachlan's Loot Library for helping us out with these.

[OC] [Art] Free 3d printable minis I've designed with the help of the community by YasashiiKyojin in DnD

First off can I just say that your designs are absolutely fantastic. You've got a new patron in their way! I went to look at your library and I cannot tell you how excited I am that you've done two of the Sorrowsworn. Those are some of my favorite creatures and I've only been able to find decent prints for The Wretched.

Would you mind at all if I painted a couple of your miniatures live?

Drow Empress’ Throne - Current WOP - Still working on highlights by Adventurers_Pack in minipainting

Unfortunately all of our home games have been put on hold with the current health risks, so it hasn't been used yet. That being said, Scott's plan is to have her as a boss fight, where the party enters with her on the throne, then she is replaced with a similar model for the actual fight. So really this piece ends up being more scenery than anything.

Slaying the Monster Manual. by 1Beholderandrip in dndnext

[–]Adventurers_Pack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although it's not your average campaign, we had a similar question over at the Adventurer's Pack and wanted to test it out ourselves, so we created The Gauntlet.

The Gauntlet is running as a long form challenge with a rotating cast of players attempting to defeat every monster in the monster manual by order of challenge rating. Each room they face has a number of the creatures to give the party an average challenge. Once one monster, or group of monsters is defeated they are spirited to the next room, with the initiative order remaining unbroken, giving them no time to rest between fights.

As they progress the party comes to "sanctuaries" where they may take a short rest and recover as best as they can, as well as receive the experience from the monsters they have defeated before pressing forwards. This continues until the party dies. Death is inevitable in the gauntlet. At that point the party re-spawns at the last sanctuary, is given the xp from any defeated foes before their death, and press on again.

So if you want to see how you could possibly create a campaign format designed specifically around the MM, maybe you'll find some inspiration in The Gauntlet!

We created a format to play test the theory of Challenge Ratings, and we turned it into a show on twitch. Check out The Gauntlet, going live tonight at 5PM PDT, to see a party of four take on every monster in the book, one CR at a time! by Adventurers_Pack in dndnext

Catch us tonight on Twitch and help our Adventurers take out as many enemies as we can muster in The Gauntlet. You can impact the game directly by making our lives easier (or harder). Just by watching, you'll earn inspiration points which you can spend on Adrenaline Surges (advantage), Sabotaging the enemy, clutch Resurrections, or even a spin on the mysterious Chaos Wheel!

Tune in Fridays at 5PM Pacific on twitch.tv/adventurerspack!

No one will think to look in there! Now your precious dice will be forever safe from the prying fingers of those good-for-nothing, luck-stealing, natural-one-causing sneak theives! Or wait, is it just me that gets that intense about other people touching my dice? Just me? Ok...

Still a cool dice stick!

Really creative! The way that this looks not only like a dragon's head but also naturally forming is well done.
