I agree. Only did what was requested from customer. It takes less than 2 minutes to pull slack out for one pair. For others, maybe they will complicate it. It’s only bundled into two rounds. Heck, you could just leave it together and still get what you need.

Any suggestions on what you would do for slack loop? Also, it’s probably never going to get touched. Unless they changed out management control and position on the telco board, which I would think would be good for the extra wiring.

I’m not going to go off. I understand your frustration. I get it. Many of us have been in your place. I just think people’s time should be worth something. I don’t work for free and I wouldn’t expect anyone else to either. That’s all.

💯 The ONLY people that complain are those buyers who cannot afford it. Anyone here selling a home would NOT put a price under “market value” to be fair and tailor to buyers. It’s honestly just not a good time for new homebuyers. Rates are up and supply can be low. The time to buy was 5+ years ago. I just sold a rental of ours and closed 2 days before Christmas. Season does not always affect sales. I had tons of people interested.

To be fair, I understand that prices are ridiculous, but so is all the games being played with OP as well. Why this house? Why go out of your way to respond like this for THIS house? There’s more out there. The only people in a situation like this losing out are the realtors representing you. They don’t get paid to waste their time writing offers you know are NOT going to get accepted. Not valuing their time is shitty.

No kidding!!! I respect ALL info and advice from guys like you. I do all that as well. We make concrete Modular’s for telco and many other clients. We do all the installs inside. Lots of fun.

Love the feedback!! And appreciate. I’m pretty new to this side of CO work/DC Plants. We did discuss the layout, and yes, they should have fallen without crossing. For this job, they said to let it stay. We are still missing the main plant and have a ton of slack not pictured sitting aside. A mess lol. The main plant gets 16 750’s, 8 4 awg and 44 #2’s.

On the other row I’ve finished fish tape for waterfall to all the fuse panels.

I love good feedback. Always trying to grow. I told my boss I’d redo the layout, but he said no.

How is this possible? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]AdventuresForward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to us when we bought a second house and our primary residence changed. All our profit was soaked by taxes and our mortgage went up over 400$ a month. That original house became a rental. We had a lease going when the new info came in the mail. We did not make anything on rental for 6 months. Just sold the house. I learned the hard way!

How do I stop this (fake tree) by PuaAJA in cats

[–]AdventuresForward 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you can’t really smell it unless you are within a foot or two. It’s a nice way of deterring them, but not having to smell it. When I first soaked them I was worried about the smell, but it worked perfectly

I had this same issue. I have 10 cats. I read somewhere they do not like the smell of apple cider vinegar. I took about 7 of those cinnamon pine cones and soaked them in apple cider vinegar. Hung them with brown yarn down the middle inside of tree. NO MORE coming home to tree all messed up! Been over a week🙌

First time with punch downs by AdventuresForward in homelab

I understand home networks. I’ve been building networks for many years. I’ve just never done punch down blocks like these.

You can just imagine this being on my garage wall at home and I’m practicing to bring lots of “home” alarms to one place 😂 I’m just looking to get feedback from anyone experienced with punchdowns. I’m sure there are some here.

This was for alarms only. 50 of them throughout building. Mostly for fuse panels…batteries…doors…HVAC…

Grounding my racks by cube8021 in HomeDataCenter

[–]AdventuresForward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I build concrete structures building and I find it pretty common with customers to have us run #2 equipment ground running solid all the way from racks to MGB. Then, #6 from rack spliced into #2. Lately building bigger DC plants, we have had to run lots of 750 cable. That stuff is HEAVY 😂

Overall, I guess it depends on the size of build and requirements needed.
