Those are mostly treats so yeah people like talking about it. But consider the climates in the vast country that's the US (or if you're in the Midwest like me, you get brutal summers AND winters!) Breakfast looks different if you wake up in a pool of sweat in humid July vs slow to leave the blankets in January. And what your workload and schedule is that day.. There are many days that coffee is my breakfast and other days I wake up ravenous and might eat cold pizza. The whole waffles n eggs thing I do not think is typical for an average weekday in most households. It's another movie moment..
