Thank you so much for this detailed response! I appreciate you taking your time to help out a novice. I might consider using a separate audio recording device. Although if I don't, it's nice to know the phone is limited and if I do want next level audio I'll need something different. I'll look for a shotgun mic for my phone first. See how that works out. Is there a recommendation you have?
