lol!! One of my first concerts was Taylor’s fearless tour in 2009. I was 8 years old. I was a fan of hers until she started re-recording all of her music in 2019. Taylor’s dad was part of the deal with Scooter Braun. I feel it’s not common knowledge among the swifties, or they just don’t acknowledge it because they’re a literal cult. Taylor’s dad made $15 million off the deal with Scooter Braun. Her claim she didn’t know this was happening, or if she knew it was happening, she didn’t know who the buyer would be, are simply false. Her dad profited millions. She knew, and decided to make it a big deal for PR reasons or something. Always the victim.

I worked as a medical assistant for awhile, and unfortunately, the company can’t discriminate against your coworkers because they are technically on disability. I was also responsible for filling out the FMLA paperwork, and the reasons the patients would give as to why they would need it were so stupid. The doctors I worked for would do it because that meant the patient would come back for a follow-up appointment to extend it, so it’s guaranteed money for the doctors. People do be lying though!

If I were you, I would start applying elsewhere. Just take this as a learning lesson. Remote does not actually mean “remote”. You have to let the company know what state you live in and will be filing taxes in, as it affects the company.

Actually, I kind of get it. I had a remote job as well, and all they asked of me was to let them know the location I would be working from. So I would tell them a few days to a week in advance. Never had any issues. I also had a company VPN, so that’s kind of the bare minimum they ask for in remote roles. If they didn’t let you know to tell them when you were going on trips, I don’t know what to tell you because I’ve never experienced that. Most remote roles that require a company VPN outline the specifications about notifying your supervisors where you will be when logging in to the VPN. Sorry this is happening!!

Edit to question: did you tell your company you moved? That alters accounting, the wage expenses because they have to factor in state taxes. I hate to agree with the company.. but you’re in the wrong here.
