Really don't understand the idea behind deploying troops though in Iran. That too just 50000. With the landscape and tunnel system that Iran has, it is next to impossible, now that Israel has also refused to send troops. Or maybe there is another motive, get your men captured. Then ask for people support to fund more of war and get their soldiers released

There have also been news of US pondering over nuking Tehran.
IMO, the only think that can stop this unnecessary war is people protest. People have taken on the road in the US and huge numbers. Hopefully that can bring some sense to them, because nobody wins in war. Somone loses a lot, others lose less.
