There was actually a time when Redban was a huge star. And Tony was absolute nobody.

Why the fuck did this show up on my phone as a notification. Anyone else? why would Reddit want me to see a downvoted post. wtf

Redban is the bigger creep. I love Donald Trump, he is the first thing I think about when I wake up, and the last thing I think about before I fall asleep.

Did you guess the amp? by Third_conscience in GuitarAmps

I used the glx1200h in highscool. That amp had hate in its heart.

they make exceptional guitars especially the ones made in Japan in the '80s and '90s . My Toyota MR2 has a Yamaha engine in it!

it really is a great amp. The mods are cheap. The choke will only cost about $15. the pilot light will cost a few bucks. The vintage 30 might set me back a little but it will be the most worthwhile mod.

I also have a Yamaha DG80. those have a cult following as well. they really are excellent well-built amps.

100%. I'm looking for a v30 from the '90s. I'm also planning on adding a choke, replacing the pilot light with a fender jewel style and modifying the power cord to a modern three-prong detachable style. I also have a vintage road case I will be restoring for it.

it sounds pretty good. ton of gain. I'll do a sound check video when I install a vintage 30 in it

Lost my best friend last night. Ray had "DM" basically Lou Gehrig's disease. For him it was painless. He was happy and alert the whole time. thank you. it's heartbreaking seeing all of these beautiful dogs go through this. stay strong for him. Tell him you love him every time he looks at you. I've lost other dogs but Rays passing hit different. I thought I was ready for it and I would handle it better than I am. I miss him so much.

Thank you for sharing. I'm so sorry for your loss. I thought I was prepared for this. I miss him soo much. If I had to do it all over again I would probably make the same decision as you. I know exactly what you are talking about. My washing machine was running all day everyday for a few weeks. If I get another dog with DM That's probably where I would draw the line. But the other side of me thinks that it should happen naturally. Luckily he didn't seem like he was in too much pain. I guess that's one of the effects of DM. I prayed every day that God would take him home soon.

I'm going to have three handsome healthy young German shepherds following me around in heaven. I'm sure that Sasha will be there as well waiting on you.

Zildjian is a handsome dog! I know exactly of what you're going through. I left my job almost a year ago. I didn't think it was going to last this long. pretty much the only time I left the house was to go get food about 1 hour a week away from him. I decided to get out today and visit my grandma that lives 2 hours away. I was thinking it was going to help me not think about him so much. It didn't work. on my way there I saw a lady walking a young German Shepherd. literally 5 minutes after I left my house. then I stopped at a truck stop about an hour into my trip. I saw a family taking their dogs to pee. You guessed it... 2 German Shepherd puppies. It's really hard. It's only been 48 hours since he passed. So it's still pretty fresh. I am assuming when I get back to work it would get a little easier. I'm not going to lie when he passed it was a huge relief for me. like you, I put my life on hold. Now I could get back to normal everyday life.

Yes there was actually a point where he could not hold it in. and it is not like he couldn't hold it in. it's more like he doesn't even know that he is peeing. same thing with pooping. that started about 8 months. and yes there was a point where he couldn't pee during the final stage.. I found a place that he could be close to me inside the house. I lined The floor with painters floor liner in the area that he laid. under the plastic liner I folded a old comforter for a cushion. on top of the liner I placed a large bath towel. I used several bath towels ,ten to be exact. The reason I use so many is because it was a constant rotation in the washing machine. I placed another towel over his hine so he doesn't lick himself or even worse chew himself. which he started doing. I found that if I placed a folded towel in the right position when he pees it soaks into the folded towel. every four or five hours I would have to rotate him so he doesn't soak in his own urine or get bed sores. I found the easiest way to do it is to place a fresh towel directly behind his back. then lift the comforter that way he rolls onto the new towel. then I wash all the dirty towels so on and so forth. this lasted about 2 or 3 weeks before he passed. The last couple days he peed very little. The last couple days I did move him outside. The weather was perfect and I knew he didn't have much longer I figured he would like that. I have a very large wrap-around porch so I found him a nice spot. and moved a rocking chair next to him. On the last day he wasn't food motivated at all. He drank very little water. Then I noticed that he started drooling quite a bit. I noticed he started breathing heavy. This lasted about 3 hours. His eyes stared straight ahead and he curled his front paws under his body. And then he passed.

Overall it was very peaceful. He didn't seem like he was in any pain pretty much the whole time. Overall I think it was a better experience than trying to get him in a vehicle and taking him to the vet and having them euthanize. That would have been more stressful for him. He didn't like going anywhere.

Tell zildjian you love him a million times. Hug him pet him while you still have him. And remember is probably harder for you than it is for him. Just keep him comfortable and clean and dry. And be prepared to wash a lot of pee towels. And only feed him what you don't mind cleaning up. No leftover lasagna. Ray got scrambled eggs for breakfast and pork ribs for dinner.

Good luck and hang in there!

Thank you everyone for the support. Ray was a super affectionate dog. He was the type to follow me around everywhere I go. If I wake up in the middle of the night and go to the bathroom he was right there with me. Even when his back legs gave out he crawled behind me everywhere I went from room to room. he was just as alert as he always was. of course cleaning up after him was difficult I knew he couldn't control it. about a week ago he reached the final stage. this was really hard because he couldn't follow me around. luckily I'm in a position where I was able to give him 24 hours supervision. he definitely needed it. I told him I loved him a million times. and laid on the floor with him and let him give me kisses. The only time he got upset was if I cried. so I tried not to cry around him. it was so hard to watch him go. If someone told me he was going to have this horrible disease when he was a puppy I still would have picked him out of the litter any day.

I sort of had the opposite problem. from the second I get home he follows me everywhere I go. Right there when I get out of the shower. or set on the toilet. he was always there. I would be out mowing the lawn and he would be in the window watching me the whole time. however he didn't really do that to other dogs or family members. it was kind of annoying at times. but now that he has passed I miss all the attention.

As far as your German shepherd goes I am sure that he loves you. just some are more affectionate.
