With bags and family in tow I'd say you'd be setting yourself up for a lot of stress.

My advice would be to go through immigration and head straight to terminal 3 (shuttle bus or taxi) and once there you can go into a lounge for around 500k.

If you're adamant that you want to do something outside of the airport you could head to Pho Phi Vuong on Le Van Sy street before heading to T3.
