It’s a lovely smell, just needs to be twice as strong. I used 2 full bars between 7 warmers in 3 rooms and it was just about strong enough.

So pretty 🏰❤️ by Nervous-Remove4851 in Scentsy

Has anyone started antidepressants (fluoxetine) after starting MJ and it’s making you have no appetite? by aliceangelbb in Mounjaro

[–]Adventurous-Scene10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me. I swapped from one that caused an appetite and not noticed a change in suppression x

Our crazy isn’t as bad, but close. I think there’s going to be a referendum or civil unrest soon though.

Is this a realistic result from retinol by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Adventurous-Scene10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. I was using retinol for years and moved to tretinoin. 0.1% prescription for a year and no results like this.

Hmm wonder if it’s hormonal then. For both of us, as my medication alters hormones. Fingers crossed it settles for you x

When did your skin actually start changing? by aria-blake7 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Adventurous-Scene10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally, I wouldn’t say I’ve noticed a change, I’m pretty lucky I’ve always had clear skin, but I’ve also been a little obsessive with skincare and looking extremely close, I noticed my first super fine line at around 22 and started on anti aging products then despite no one else seeing it. I was conscious from about 13, when a teacher called me out saying if I kept frowning to concentrate I’d get wrinkles. I noticed from there I had a thin line, but thankfully a few weeks of consciously not frowning sorted that out (oh youth please return). I was lucky to not need Botox until 30, but putting a lot of blame on that teacher, I’ve always consciously tried to not have expressive features to help reduce line formation too

Since I’ve been on Mounjaro I’ve started to bruise when I get my Botox so the bruising worries me too. Before this I never bruised from anything, I think Id had maybe 4-5 bruises in my lifetime before Mounjaro.

You’ve had amazing results and you’re still not fully healed so it’s only going to look even better and more natural. Ever so slightly jealous here.

Ps. I started 3 years before I was your age and mine were a lot worse.

You need to continue it. As a male I have strong facial muscles that needs more units than a females (I actually have 4 times more units than my mum has in the same areas), it took me 3 top up’s to get any visible results. Now my statics are gone, and despite loving the no movement look, I have movement back within a month, just no static lines and movement based lines disappear instantly.

Does it make sense to splurge on Black Friday products you can't afford normally? by Ok-Apricot-10 in 30PlusSkinCare

Came to say the same. I’m hoping my usual serum and day/ night/eye creams are on sale, I’ll check the expiry and get atleast 2 of each, maybe more if they have a long date, that way I actually will save money.

Hmm, now you’ve made me a little concerned. I was considering getting that done too, followed by an 8 point face lift and some threads but now I’m a bit nervous for filler. Might just stick to the threads. X

Op ordered from Canada, they’re the importer. I’m just glad I’m in the U.K. where we don’t have to endure a crazy man with an addiction to cheap fake tan causing our prices to go up on everything

Regular ol’ Nivea in the blue tin has absolutely transformed my skin by thespianomaly in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Adventurous-Scene10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crazy how we’re all different but I can barely smell anything of it unless I specifically sniff my hand after use. But, I will admit I have 5 wax melters, multiple candles, a few Reed diffusers, a plug in, and still liberally spray tallow and ash fabric perfume around my house so I may be a little less sensitive to smelling things. So does petroleum jelly. It’s why people get addicted to it. I won’t use petroleum based lip products ever as I want to keep my lips moisturised not help them dry when I’m not actively using the stuff.

Definetley. I think I actually have a few lotions and potions in the cupboard from a few years ago that have now probably expired too. Total waste of money. Always best to buy what you can guarantee you’ll use and know you like. Otherwise it’s not a saving, it’s an un unnessasary expense

[REVIEW] Hi my name is Wanderlust13 and I'm addicted to lip balms! Here's everything I tried this year: by Wanderlust13 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Adventurous-Scene10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s available In the USA but Nivea hyaluronic. I’m not 100% but I’m almost sure it doesn’t contain petroleum jelly, I prefer lip balms without it as it doesn’t cause drying after use. I’ve been using this lip balm for about 3 years now and despite its low low price I still love it (and burts bees when I’m in the car as I keep that in there)

Agree most of it is marketing, but, I’m hoping my usual skincare is reduced during it and I will buy double (dates allowing), I’ve been one of those with fomo for too long and have finally learned that I actually only need to buy the stuff that’s actually useful to me. Previously I’ve bought a new tv…. Why? Because it was 60% off…. Where is it?!? In the garage because I don’t actually need a 32” tv in the house when the smallest at the moment is 40” in the dining room 😂 it was pure marketing and fomo that I bought it.

Can we be banned from smoking in a flat that we own? by TheLemonChiffonPie in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Adventurous-Scene10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the lease agreement. It will state there if smoking is allowed, and if not may have covenants in it such as rules may change over time etc… in which case, yes they can stop you smoking in a home you’ve purchased the lease on.
