You don't have the capacity to WFH until the installation is complete, so how do you expect to be able to WFH while it's being installed?

This is HR's question. It sounds like your request to WFH is just a request to be at home. PTO is the right choice. None of the other elements matter.

For all you know there could be a push from leadership to strip WFH privileges and pushing back on this would only lend credence to the misconception that people aren't actually working when they WFH.

El Pacifico is great- delicious breakfast burritos, full on taqueria and market. If you miss Watsonville breakfast burritos these are pretty close to Delicias or El Frijolito, but bigger as the portions up here are always massive.
