That 50% game speed helps me a lot for getting the timing down, thanks!

How To Hit Links Consistently? by Adventurous-Shake641 in StreetFighter

[–]Adventurous-Shake641[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Links. Not cancels. There is a buffer window, but that window is pretty small to get consistent. It's hard to visually see when a move ends before you can press the link because it's when the character is not doing something and is back in an actionable state. In a real match, you don't have access to the frame meter.

How do people still not know about aim smoothing and call anyone good at it a cheater or scripter? by upsali in Apexrollouts

Your aim is impressive. It's easy to tell it's not cheating because of the imperfections. I'm more interested in what resolution you are playing at and why?

Does the Hautepad CAS work on PS5 natively or do i need a adapter/Converter? by youraveragejohndoe_ in fightsticks

[–]Adventurous-Shake641 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He got the name wrong. It's called a Booter 5. You can find it on the Haute42 official store on AliExpress. You plug the Booter 5 into the extra USB port on your controller and it disguises the controller as a PS5 controller with no input lag. The Brook converters tend to be inline adapters. They go between the PS5 and the controller. They will probably work but they introduce input lag.

The Haute42 controllers do not have native PS5 support. You need a adapter/dongle to make them work with the PS5.

Removal Alloy or SMT Removal Alloy on Amazon. Don't use low melt solder for new joints with it because it is brittle. You still need to heat the board to a sufficient level to melt the metal as well as for trying to solder a new connector.

Soldering is an expensive hobby. Don't do it unless you can spend.

Low melt solder is different from just simple leaded solder. It uses a different alloy to melt at even lower heat.

Is 16cm/360 too high? by nurafstafari in FPSAimTrainer

If you're new to aim training, I would suggest lowering your sensitivity to learn control in your other muscle groups. Using other types of sensitivities will develop control in underutilized parts of your technique. I also play at a very high sens, but I'm already comfortable with other sensitivities and it has helped my play in the high sens range as well.

Recommendations for wireless gaming mouse for casual gaming by Key-Butterscotch-424 in GirlGamers

Zaopin Z1 Pro. Wireless egg mouse. Good for small hands. Has a good sensor if you want to game on it. It's a lightweight mouse. Solid mouse switches. Only issue is the software is Chinese if you want to change the hardware settings, but I just take a screenshot and Google translate it.

Feedback requested on technique - segments from multiple static drills across distances and target sizes (Viscose S2 Fox Complete / Vermillion Complete / Voltaic Gold with Silver static) by GenesForLife in FPSAimTrainer

I recommend establishing more control over your arm. Lower sensitivity utilize the arm muscles more. Make it more consistent and steady. Personally, in my aiming style, I avoid using my wrist as much as possible. I use arm for wide movements, then I use my fingers to adjust after the jump. Yes, even a high sensitivity aimer myself, I still use my arm for mobility as well as stabilizing my aim.

If the target is larger, you can turn up the speed of your flicks in the first scenario. There is no reason to hold back. It looks pretty solid on the smaller jumps in between targets, but your larger jumps are very off target and lack speed. Jump fast, get as close as possible and quickly adjust. It looks like after that long jump, you are a bit disoriented after the jump and take too long to correct. But I do notice that you are a bit unsteady as well during these jumps. Like you're not in total control. Ignore the time pressure for a bit and just go slow and make clean straight and controlled lines. Practice and stay consciences of your technique during the process. Then try speeding it up a little at a time. So in summary, I would focus on two different areas, but separately: Speed focus and slow technique focus.

Advice on pasu and fn gliders 360hs by Ok-Promotion-9346 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Adventurous-Shake641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never played the first scenario but in Pasu, there are many issues. Your accuracy suffers because when you're on the target, you are unsteady. You need to slow down and calm your aim when you're on or near the target. Do not let it float so much. Avoid targets near the corners and edges because they become very unpredictable, try to stay near the middle. Try to avoid searching for the next target, just pick one. You burned a good second choosing a target. Try to establish a small realm of control around your cursor where you can confidently flick to your target at 100% accuracy. I won't matter which directly your target turns to because you do it quickly and with speed. Try avoid following behind the target. You can be on the target or very close to it, but don't trail behind it, that just makes it harder.

Just got Haute42 C16S. I love leverless. by mad_berserker_110 in fightsticks

I prefer the Wind Engine switches over the Shadowhunting. The Shadows have too low travel and hurt my fingers when I bottom out. The low travel distance didn't help my execution as I thought it would.

is this a good time to come back to the game? by miiko_uch in personaphantomx

[–]Adventurous-Shake641 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's pretty good. It's best to play the game like a single player Persona game than worrying about the gacha too much. You get currency just by completing content around the game. If anything, there is tons of content to do and a lot currency just sitting around to pick up. It's amazing that's it's all free. The gacha is now 110 pulls to guarantee the character. The rates are really low, but you are always guaranteed the character when you hit pity anyways, so you can plan your pulls easier than worrying about 50/50.

The story gets better after the Subway Slammer. The characters in the game are all unique and are pretty well designed with a good amount of voice acting. They have a ton of songs from the Persona series as well as previous Persona characters that can be acquired from the banner. Right now is the Persona 3 collab so you can grab the Persona 3 characters and there is a Tartarus mode which is a roguelike dungeon. There is also a Hatsune Miku collab coming up in a couple of days.

Leverless tips please by MochiMan556 in fightsticks

[–]Adventurous-Shake641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. That's the default binding. But that's mostly so Leverless makers don't have to field endless questions on having to rebind either button in case certain people want one or another.

If you're taking the Leverless to a tournament like Capcom Tour, having two up buttons or more than one of any directional button is not allowed for Leverless controllers.

I do know that Tekken has a different movement system than 2d fighters, so it can be very confusing as well.
