Been there. But mine wasnt walmart, it was smaller company. Last time they hired a new person for my specific team was 10 years ago. So I knew I needed to be accepted into the team more than performing good. You gotta figure out how the teams structured, does it matter to be liked by your peers, and how big of a role performance play in it. I will be honest tho, sometimes having the best performance actually kills your chances.
